William Burgess and Sophia Ewen.1 Susanna Burgess married Major Nicholas Sewall, son of Colonel Henry Sewall and Jane Lowe.2 Susanna Burgess and Major Nicholas Sewall were living on 11 October 1705 when she joined her husband in a deed.2 Susanna Burgess died before 1737.

William Burgess was living in Anne Arundel County a member of the Council and one of the Deputy Governors.2 He made a will on 11 July 1685 and proved 19 February 1686/7 in which he menions his daughter Susanna wife of Maj. Nicholas Sewall, and his granchildren Charles and Jeanne Sewell.2 He died on 24 January 1686/87.2
