One of his daughters, Sarah Waldo, married the future United States Supreme Court Justice, Joseph Story.2 He married Catherine Pynchon, daughter of William Pynchon and Catherine Sewall, on 5 November 1776 in Salem.1 Judge William Wetmore died on 18 November 1830 in Boston at the age of 81.1
