Also listed at the same address are C.R. Wentworth and his family, presumably a brother of Pauline Sewall.4 Pauline Fairfield Wentworth died on 22 September 1854 in Beloit, Wisconsin, at the age of 47

Mrs. Sewall was a native of N.H., in which State she resided until ten years after her marriage, when she removed to the South. In 1849 she came from Missouri to this place. Here the last years of her life have been spent in the midst of numerous acquaintances, whose society she much enjoyed, and by whom she was highly esteemed.
At the age of 23, Mrs. Sewall made a public profession of religion. That profession she has maintained to the last, with much fidelity. To a naturally amiable and lovely disposition were added in a high degree those christian graces which in the sight of God are of great price, and constitute that elevation and perfection of character which, to be known is to be loved.
For many years Mrs. Sewall has had poor health, which at times has caused her extreme suffering. The sickness which terminated her days was short. From its beginning she felt that it was her last. She spoke freely of death and had no fears. Christ crucified for sinners, was her hope, her joy, her all. She gave directions concerning her funeral, conversed much with her family and friends, and as she bade adieu to earth she looked forward to her home in heaven with the assurance of hope. For her, " To live was Christ - to die was gain." Beloit Free Press, 28 Sept. 1854.5
