     Rev. John Ward was born on 5 November 1606 in Haverhill, Suffolk, England.² He was the son of Rev. Nathaniel Ward.³ Rev. John Ward came to New England in 1639.⁴ He married Alice Edmunds.⁵ Rev. John Ward was ordained on 24 October 1675 first minister of Haverhill, Massachusetts.^3,4 He died on 27 December 1693 at the age of 87.⁴

     Col. Joseph Ward was born on 2 July 1737.³ Responded to the first call for troops and served as aide to Gen. Artemus Ward at Bunker Hill. For his courage in this battle he received a pair of silver mounted pistols. He was appointed, 1777, Commissary General of Muster with the rank of colonel, and, 1778, was taken prisoner.⁴ He married Prudence Bird on 30 November 1784.³ Col. Joseph Ward died on 14 February 1812 at the age of 74.³

     Lelah Ward was born in 1893 in Ohio.^1,2 She married Don Reginald Nash, son of Dr. George Harlow Nash and Sadie Louise Wood.¹ Lelah Ward died in 1950.¹

     Mary Ward was born on 24 June 1649 in Haverhill, Essex County, Massachusetts.² She was the daughter of Rev. John Ward and Alice Edmunds.¹

     Mary Ward was the daughter of Rev. John Ward. Mary Ward married Samuel Waite in 1613.¹

     Rev. Nathaniel Ward was born in 1578 in Haverhill, Suffolk, England.² He was the son of Rev. John Ward.³ Rev. Nathaniel Ward died in October 1653 in Shenfield, Essex, England.² Author of the Simple Cobbler of Agawam.³

     Samuel Ward was born in 1638.² He married Sarah Bradstreet, daughter of Governor Simon Bradstreet and Ann Dudley, on 24 June 1684 in Marblehead, Massachusetts.² Samuel Ward died in 1690.²

     Samuel C. Ward married Jane Ropes, daughter of Judge Nathaniel Ropes and Priscilla Sparhawk, on 31 October 1790.¹

     Susan Ward was the daughter of Rev. Nathaniel Ward.¹ Susan Ward married Giles Firmin in Boston.^1,2

     Basil Wardell-Johnson was born in 1900 in Albany, Western Australia.² He married Kate Louise Scott, daughter of Robert Purdon Scott and Kate Worth, on 8 October 1924 in St. Paul's Church, Bridgetown, Western Australia.¹

     Donald Wardell-Johnson was born circa 1927 in Bridgetown, Western Australia.¹ He was the son of Basil Wardell-Johnson and Kate Louise Scott.¹ Donald Wardell-Johnson died on 4 July 1938 in Bridgetown, Western Australia.¹

     John Warden was born circa 1803.¹ He married Juliana Reynolds, daughter of William John Reynolds and Sophia Symonds, on 7 March 1855 in Milford, Hampshire.¹ John Warden died on 25 April 1869 in Southsea, Hampshire.¹

     George Ernest Wardrobe was born on 8 December 1872 in Lawrence, Essex County, Massachusetts.¹ He married Josie Ellen Wood, daughter of Jeremiah Wood and Martha Ellen Dickinson, on 12 October 1898 in West Lebanon, Grafton County, New Hampshire.¹ George Ernest Wardrobe died on 30 August 1957 in Lexington, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, at the age of 84.¹

     Josephine Jennison Wardrobe was born in 1911.¹ She was the daughter of George Ernest Wardrobe and Josie Ellen Wood.¹ Josephine Jennison Wardrobe married Carl Bulkeley Norris.¹ Josephine Jennison Wardrobe died in 1990.¹

     Muriel Arline Wardrobe was born in 1900.¹ She was the daughter of George Ernest Wardrobe and Josie Ellen Wood.¹ Muriel Arline Wardrobe died in 1923.¹

     Nancy Dallas Wardrobe was born in 1945.¹ She was the daughter of Roland Milton Wardrobe and Irene Dallas Hall.¹ Nancy Dallas Wardrobe died in 1980.¹

     Phyllis Cass Wardrobe was born on 6 November 1906 in Lawrence, Essex County, Massachusetts.¹ She was the daughter of George Ernest Wardrobe and Josie Ellen Wood.¹ Phyllis Cass Wardrobe married Daniel Fraser MacLean on 14 June 1930 in Somerville, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.¹ Phyllis Cass Wardrobe married Hallock Snyder Marsh after 1952.¹ Phyllis Cass Wardrobe died on 11 December 1995 in Venice, Sarasota County, Florida, at the age of 89.¹

     Roland Milton Wardrobe was born on 21 May 1908.^1,2 He was the son of George Ernest Wardrobe and Josie Ellen Wood.¹ Roland Milton Wardrobe married Irene Dallas Hall.¹ Roland Milton Wardrobe died in August 1987 in Massachusetts at the age of 79.^1,2

     Anne Ware was born circa 1592.¹ She married firstly Emanuel Downing on 7 June 1614 at England.¹ Anne Ware died circa 1622.¹

     Ada Warenne was the daughter of William Warenne 2nd Earl of Surrey and Isabella of Vermandois.¹ Ada Warenne married Henry of Scotland, Earl of Huntingdon, Earl of Northumberland, son of David I King of Scotland and Matilda of Huntingdon, in 1139. Ada Warenne died in 1178.¹

     William Warenne 2nd Earl of Surrey married Isabella of Vermandois, daughter of (?) Hugh, Count of Vermandois.

     Sarah Jane Warfield was born in 1818 in Lexington, Kentucky.¹ She married Dr. John Rockwell Smith, son of Eli Smith and Ama Emerson, in 1836.¹ Sarah Jane Warfield died in 1863.¹

     Esther Warham was baptised on 8 December 1644. She was the daughter of Rev. John Warham. Esther Warham married first Rev. Eleazar Mather, son of Rev. Richard Mather and Katharine Holt, on 29 September 1659 at Windsor, Connecticut.² Esther Warham married secondly Rev. Solomon Stoddard on 8 March 1670.¹ Esther Warham died on 10 February 1736 at the age of 91.

     Alan de Warine was the son of Fulk fitz Warine II and Hawise de Dinan.¹

     Fulk fitz Warine I was the son of Guarine de Metz.¹ Fulk fitz Warine I married Eva Tracy.¹ Fulk fitz Warine I died in in 1171 or 1219 Eyton says that he was living at Michaelmas 1170, when the Gloucestershire Pipe-Roll assigns the Manor of Aloestan to Folcho fitz Warin; he was dead at Michaelmas 1171, when the Gloucestershire Pipe-Roll assigns the same Manor to Fulko, son of Fulko fitz Warin, however the Fine Roll in January 1219 reads "Order to the sheriff of Berkshire that, immediately after having viewed these letters, he is to take into the king’s hand all land in his bailiwick of Fulk fitz Warin and Eva de Tracy and her sister on account of the son and heir of Thomas of London , who they detain from the king and who ought to be in the custody of the king. Witness the earl as above."^2,3

     Fulk fitz Warine II was the son of Fulk fitz Warine I and Eva Tracy.¹ Fulk fitz Warine II married Hawise de Dinan, daughter of Josce de Dinan.¹ Fulk fitz Warine II died in 1197 In the year ending Michaelmas 1198, Hawise de Dinan fined 30 marks that she might not be obliged to remarry.^1,2

     Fulk fitz Warine III was the son of Fulk fitz Warine II and Hawise de Dinan.¹ In 1201 fitz Warine rebelled and was outlawed but this outlawry was revoked by a Patent of 15 November 1203.² Fulk fitz Warine III married firstly Maud le Vavasour, daughter of Robert le Vavasour, before October 1207 or, as Eyton puts it, the said Fulk had replaced Robert le Vavasour as grantee of her marriage and dower.³
On 23 November 1219 Fulk fitz Warin gives the king a palfrey for having a weekly market on Wednesdays at his manor of Whittington and for having an annual two-day fair there on the eve and feast of St. Luke the Evangelist, unless the market and fair are to the harm etc. Order to the sheriff of Shropshire to cause him to have the market and fair and to take security etc. Witness H. de Burgh, justiciar.⁴
On 13 July 1234 For Master Robert of Stafford. To the sheriff of Shropshire. The king’s beloved and faithful Fulk fitz Warin has made fine with him by 600 m. for having custody of the land and heirs of William Pantulf until the heirs come of age, with their marriage, concerning which 600 m. the king has granted him that he may render 100 m. each year at the Exchequer, and, afterwards, at the petition of the aforesaid Fulk, the king granted the aforesaid custody and marriage to Master Robert of Stafford to have until the aforesaid heirs come of age in the form in which he had granted it to Fulk, so that he renders 100 m. each year at the Exchequer at the terms previously granted to Fulk, so that, by the king’s grant, Master Robert is to begin to render 50 m. of the aforesaid fine at the Exchequer at Easter in the nineteenth year, 50 m. at Michaelmas in the same year, and 50 m. thus each year at the aforesaid terms until he will have paid the whole fine. The king signifies this to him, ordering him to take security from the aforesaid master for rendering the aforesaid fine to the king, as aforesaid. By the king.⁵
Fulk fitz Warine III died in 1258 though Eyton has him probably living until sometime before 8 September 1260.^1,6

     Fulk fitz Warine IV was the son of Fulk fitz Warine III and Maud le Vavasour.¹ Fulk fitz Warine IV married Constance (Unknown).² Fulk fitz Warine IV drowned on 14 May 1264 at Lewes, Sussex.¹
