     Cotton Brown Brooks was born on 20 July 1765 in North Yarmouth, Cumberland County, Maine.^2,3 He was the son of Rev. Edward Brooks and Abigail Brown.¹ Cotton Brown Brooks married firstly Jane Williams on 13 December 1794 in Salem, Essex County, Massachusetts.^1,4 Cotton Brown Brooks married secondly Ann Jones.⁵ Cotton Brown Brooks died on 12 May 1834 in Portland, Cumberland County, Maine, at the age of 68.^2,6

     Rev. Edward Brooks married Abigail Brown, daughter of Rev. John Brown and Joanna Cotton, on 23 September 1764 in Cohasset, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.^1,2

     Eleanor Brooks was the daughter of Peter C. Brooks. Eleanor Brooks married Richard Middlecott Saltonstall, son of Leverett Saltonstall and Rose S. Lee, on 17 October 1891 in Newton, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.¹

     Elizabeth Eliot Brooks was born on 18 March 1847.¹ She was the daughter of Hon. Erastus Brooks and Margaret Dawes Cranch.¹ Elizabeth Eliot Brooks died in July 1847.¹

     Hon. Erastus Brooks was born on 31 January 1815.¹ He married Margaret Dawes Cranch, daughter of Hon. William Cranch and Anna Greenleaf, on 12 January 1844.¹ Hon. Erastus Brooks died on 25 November 1886 at the age of 71.¹

     Erastus Eliot Brooks was born on 18 June 1863.¹ He was the son of Hon. Erastus Brooks and Margaret Dawes Cranch.¹ Erastus Eliot Brooks died on 18 August 1890 at the age of 27.¹

     Frances Irene Brooks married Randall William French, son of Schuyler French and Katherine Bertha Asselstine, on 26 February 1944.¹ Frances Irene Brooks died in 1989² and is buried in Crosby Cemetery, Crosby, Ontario.²

     Joanna Cotton Brooks was christened on 14 May 1772 at Medford, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.^2,3 She was the daughter of Rev. Edward Brooks and Abigail Brown.¹ Joanna Cotton Brooks died on 4 December 1841 in Medford, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, at the age of 69.⁴

Samuel Cony, on 22 November 1849 in Old Town, Maine, (there were three children of this marriage.)² Lucy Williams Brooks died on 6 March 1906 in Augusta, Maine, at the age of 80.¹

     Mary Brooks was born circa 1766.² She was the daughter of Rev. Edward Brooks and Abigail Brown.¹ Mary Brooks died in 1839.²

     Mary Brooks was born circa 1915 in Ontario.¹ She was the daughter of Louis Manon Brooks and Mary Pearl Grieve.¹

     Mary Abba Brooks married Charles W. Wiggin.

     Hon. Peter Chardon Brooks was born on 6 January 1767 in North Yarmouth, Cumberland County, Maine.¹ He was the son of Rev. Edward Brooks and Abigail Brown.^2,3 Hon. Peter Chardon Brooks married Anne Gorham on 26 November 1792 in Boston.⁴ Hon. Peter Chardon Brooks died on 1 January 1849 in Boston, Massachusetts, at the age of 81.^5,6

     Philip Ranney Brooks was born on 29 October 1875 in Winona, Minnesota.² He married Caroline Lehman Sewall, daughter of Edmund Devereux Sewall and Annie Wilbur Lehman, on 12 February 1907 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois.¹ Philip Ranney Brooks and Caroline Lehman Sewall were divorced in 1919. Philip Ranney Brooks died on 23 July 1940 in Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon, at the age of 64.³

     Jennie Mitchell Broome was born circa November 1868 in Poughkeepsie, New York.² She was the daughter of Charles C. Broome and Cornelia C. Mitchell. Jennie Mitchell Broome married Henry Devereux Sewall, son of Henry Foster Sewall and Sarah Allyne Rich, on 27 December 1904 in Christ Church, Hackensack, New York.¹ Jennie Mitchell Broome died on 26 July 1923 at 365 Oakland, Springfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts.^2,3
