     Andrew Stewart was the son of Roger Stewart of Stewartfield and Ronachan and Jean Stewart.

     Princess Annabella Stewart was born circa 1432. She was the daughter of James Stewart, King James I of Scotland and Lady Joan Beaufort.¹ Princess Annabella Stewart married firstly Louis Count of Geneva on 14 December 1447.² Princess Annabella Stewart and Louis Count of Geneva were divorced in 1458.³ Princess Annabella Stewart married George Gordon, 2nd Earl of Huntley, son of Alexander Seton, Master of Gordon, 1st Earl of Huntly and Elizabeth Chrichton, before 10 March 1459.² Princess Annabella Stewart and George Gordon, 2nd Earl of Huntley were divorced on 24 July 1471. Princess Annabella Stewart died in 1509.

     Catherine Stewart was the daughter of James Stewart, King James IV of Scotland and Margaret Boyd.¹ Catherine Stewart married James Douglas, 3rd Earl of Morton, son of John Douglas, 2nd Earl of Morton and Janet Chrichton, before 10 December 1507.²

     King Charles Stewart, Charles II, King of England was born on 29 May 1630 in St. James's Palace, London, and was Duke of Cornwall and Rothesay from birth. He was made a Knight of the Garter on 21 May, 1638 and around the same time was designated Prince of Wales and Earl of Chester, although he was never formally so created. He succeeded his father as King of Great Britain in name only on 30 January, 1649; Charles I was executed on that day, and Charles II was then an exile in France, whilst Cromwell took up the reins of government in Britain under the title Lord Protector. The Scots rallied to Charles' cause, and he was crowned on 1 January, 1651, at Scone Abbey, Perthshire. He was formally restored to the throne of Great Britain, Cromwell having died, on 29 May, 1660, and was crowned on 23 April, 1661, at Westminster Abbey.² He was the son of King Charles Stewart, Charles I, King of England and Henriette Marie of France. King Charles Stewart, Charles II, King of England married Catherine of Braganza on 21 May 1662 in Church of St. Thomas a Becket, Portsmouth.^3,4 King Charles Stewart, Charles II, King of England died on 6 February 1685 in Whitehall Palace, London, at the age of 54 of the effects of a stroke, and was buried in Westminster Abbey. He was succeeded by his brother James.⁵

     King Charles Stewart, Charles I, King of England was born on 19 November 1600 in Dunfermline Palace, Fife, he was created Duke of Albany, Marquess of Ormonde, Earl of Ross and Baron of Ardmannoch on 23 December, 1600. He was created Duke of York and made a Knight of the Bath on 6 January, 1605. He was made a Knight of the Garter on 24 April, 1611. He succeeded his brother Henry as Duke of Cornwall and Rothesay on 6 November, 1612 and was created and invested as Prince of Wales and Earl of Chester on 4 November, 1616 at Whitehall Palace, London. He succeeded his father as King of Great Britain on 27 March, 1625, and was crowned on 2 February, 1626, at Westminster Abbey. He was crowned in Scotland on 15 or 18 June, 1633, at Holyrood Abbey, Edinburgh.¹ He was the son of Charles James Stewart, James VI King of Scots. James I King of England and Anne of Denmark. King Charles Stewart, Charles I, King of England married Henriette Marie of France, on 1 May 1625 or 11 May 1625 in Cathedral of Notre Dame, Paris, by proxy and in person on 13 June, 1625 at St Augustine's Church, Canterbury, Kent.¹ King Charles Stewart, Charles I, King of England was beheaded on 30 January 1649 outside Whitehall Palace, London, at the age of 48.²

     Charles James Stewart, James VI King of Scots. James I King of England was born on 19 June 1566 in Edinburgh Castle and was Duke of Rothesay from birth. He succeeded his father as Duke of Albany, Earl of Ross and Baron Ardmannoch on 10 February, 1567. He succeeded his mother as King of Scotland on 24 July, 1567, and was crowned on 29 July, 1567, at the Church of the Holy Rude, Stirling.

He succeeded Elizabeth I, last of the Tudor sovereigns, as King of England. on 24 March, 1603 thus founding the Royal House of Stuart (now using the French version of the name) and uniting for the first time the Crowns of England and Scotland under one monarch. Henceforth, the kingdom incorporating England and Scotland would be known as Great Britain.¹ He was the son of Henry Stewart, Lord Darnley, King Consort of Scotland and Mary Stewart Queen of Scots. Charles James Stewart, James VI King of Scots. James I King of England married Anne of Denmark, daughter of Frederick II King of Denmark and Norway and Sophia of Mecklenburg-Güstrow,, on 20 August 1589 or 24 August 1589 in Kronborg Castle, Copenhagen, Denmark, by proxy and in person on 23 November, 1589, at Oslo, Norway, and again in person on 21 January, 1590, at Kronborg Castle.

She was crowned Queen Consort of Scotland on 17 May, 1590 at Holyrood Abbey, Edinburgh and Queen Consort of England on 25 July, 1603 in Westminster Abbey.² Charles James Stewart, James VI King of Scots. James I King of England died on 27 March 1625 in Theobalds Park, Hertfordshire, at the age of 58 and was buried in Westminster Abbey.³

     Colin Charles Stewart was born on 21 November 1899. He married Jessie Alexandrine Donaldson, daughter of Albert Alexander Donaldson and Jessie Webster Crombie, on 9 October 1929 in St. Andrews Presbyterian Church.

     David Stewart married Araminta Deborah Merrick, daughter of Barnabas Palmer Merrick and Deborah Sewall, on 16 March 1854 in St. Albans, Maine.¹

     Edith Stewart was born on 1 August 1890 in Staples, Minnesota.¹ She married firstly George Franklin Orlemann. Edith Stewart married Joseph Sewall Sewall, son of Joseph Sewall Sewall and Ida Christina Peterson, in 1956.² Edith Stewart died on 7 August 1982 in Daytona Beach, Florida, at the age of 92^1,3 and is buried in Evergreen Hill Cemetery, Staples, Wadena County, Minnesota.⁴

     Eleanor Helen Stewart was born on 24 January 1830 in Conecuh County, Alabama.² She was the daughter of Dr. William Stewart and Sarah Ann Sewall.¹ Eleanor Helen Stewart married James F. Singleton, son of Col. Robert John Singleton and Harriet Maria English, in 1853 in Clarke County, Alabama.¹ Eleanor Helen Stewart died on 13 September 1896 in Clarke County, Alabama, at the age of 66.²

     Elizabeth Stewart was the daughter of John Stewart Earl of Atholl and Eleanor Sinclair. Elizabeth Stewart married John Stewart, Earl of Lennox, son of Matthew Stewart, Earl of Lennox and Elizabeth Hamilton, on 19 January 1511. Elizabeth Stewart died after 1529.

     Elizabeth Stewart was the daughter of Robert Stewart, Duke of Albany and Muriella de Keith. Elizabeth Stewart married Sir Malcolm Fleming of Biggar and Cumbernauld before 28 June 1413.

     Elizabeth Stewart was born on 7 May 1787.¹ She was the daughter of Rev. John Stewart and Jean Black.¹

     Esmé Stewart, 1st Duke of Lennox was born before 1542. He was the son of John Stewart, Lord d'Aubigny and Anne de La Queville. Esmé Stewart, 1st Duke of Lennox married Catherine de Balsac in 1572.¹ Esmé Stewart, 1st Duke of Lennox died on 26 May 1583 in Paris.

     Flora Macdonald Lindsay Stewart was the daughter of W. Lindsay Stewart.¹ Flora Macdonald Lindsay Stewart married Major Graham Bromhead Bosanquet M.C., son of Admiral Sir Day Hort Bosanquet GCMG., GCVO., KCB and Mary Butt, on 23 February 1910 in Holy Trinity Brompton, London.¹

     Florence Pinckney Stewart was born on 31 March 1884.¹ She was the daughter of Colonel William Fayssoux Stewart and Lillie Sewall.¹ Florence Pinckney Stewart died on 28 December 1951 at the age of 67¹ and is now buried in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Arlington County, Virginia.^2,3

     Lt. Col. Frederick Warren Stewart was born on 18 February 1887 in Massachusetts.² He was the son of Colonel William Fayssoux Stewart and Lillie Sewall.¹ Lt. Col. Frederick Warren Stewart died on 29 July 1955 in Washington, District Of Columbia, at the age of 68¹ and is buried in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Arlington County, Virginia.³

     George Walker Stewart was christened on 26 August 1755 at Kilbride, Bute.¹ He was the son of Rev. Gershom Stewart and Elizabeth Crawford.¹

     Gershom Stewart was baptised on 28 June 1790 at Greenock.¹ He was the son of Roger Stewart of Stewartfield and Ronachan and Jean Stewart.¹ Gershom Stewart died on 29 July 1826 in Greenock at the age of 36.²

     Rev. Gershom Stewart was born in 1717.² He was the son of Rev. James Stewart and Jean McLachlan.³ Rev. Gershom Stewart was ordained in 1747 as the successor to his father. He married Elizabeth Crawford, daughter of John Crawford, on 3 December 1752 in Edinburgh recorded as Betty Crawford.⁴ Rev. Gershom Stewart died on 3 December 1796 at Kilbride Manse, Arran, in the 78th year of his age.¹

     Grace E. Stewart was born circa 1879 in California.¹ She was the daughter of Colonel William Fayssoux Stewart and Lillie Sewall.¹ Grace E. Stewart died on 31 January 1883² and is buried in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Arlington County, Virginia.²

     Henrietta Stewart was born in 1573. She was the daughter of Esmé Stewart, 1st Duke of Lennox and Catherine de Balsac.¹ Henrietta Stewart married George Gordon 1st Marquess of Huntly, son of George Gordon, 5th Earl of Huntly and Anne Hamilton, in 1588. Henrietta Stewart died on 2 September 1643.

     Henry Stewart, Lord Darnley, King Consort of Scotland was born in 1545. He was the son of Matthew Stewart, 4th Earl of Lennox and Lady Margaret Douglas. Henry Stewart, Lord Darnley, King Consort of Scotland married Mary Stewart Queen of Scots, daughter of James Stewart, King James V of Scotland and Marie de Lorraine, in 1565. Henry Stewart, Lord Darnley, King Consort of Scotland died in 1567.

     James Stewart, King James IV of Scotland was born on 17 March 1473.¹ He was the son of James Stewart, King James III of Scotland and Margarete Denmark.¹ James Stewart, King James IV of Scotland married Margaret Tudor, daughter of Henry Tudor, King Henry VII and Elizabeth of York, on 8 August 1503. James Stewart, King James IV of Scotland died on 9 September 1513 at the age of 40.

     James Stewart, King James I of Scotland was born say July 1394 in Dunfermline Palace, Fife.¹ He was the son of Robert Stewart, Robert III, King of Scotland and Annabella Drummond.² James Stewart, King James I of Scotland married Lady Joan Beaufort, daughter of John Beaufort, Earl of Somerset and Lady Margaret Holand, on 12 February 1424 in the Priory Church of St. Mary Overy, Southwark.¹ James Stewart, King James I of Scotland was assassinated on 21 February 1436 by Sir Robert Graham, whose family he had wronged.³

     James Stewart, King James II of Scotland was born on 16 October 1430.¹ He was the son of James Stewart, King James I of Scotland and Lady Joan Beaufort.¹ James Stewart, King James II of Scotland married Mary of Gueldres, daughter of Arnold Duke of Gelderland,, on 3 July 1449. James Stewart, King James II of Scotland died on 3 August 1460 by the bursting of one of his own cannon whilst besieging the English in Roxburgh Castle.²

     James Stewart, King James III of Scotland was born in May 1452 in Bishop Kennedy's castle of St. Andrews. He was the son of James Stewart, King James II of Scotland and Mary of Gueldres.¹ James Stewart, King James III of Scotland married Margarete Denmark, daughter of Christian I of Denmark, King of Denmark and Norway and Dorothea Brandenburg, on 13 July 1469. James Stewart, King James III of Scotland died on 11 June 1488 at the age of 36 murdered.

     James Stewart, King James V of Scotland was born in 1512. He was the son of James Stewart, King James IV of Scotland and Margaret Tudor. James Stewart, King James V of Scotland married Marie de Lorraine in 1538. James Stewart, King James V of Scotland died in 1542.
