Tully gives 10 November as the date of the marriage.2,3 At some point Francis Goudie Smith was of Westwood House, West Calder.3

William Smith and Jennet Livingston.1 Henrietta Smith married Chief Justice Jonathan/3 Sewell, son of Jonathan/2 Sewell and Esther Quincy, on 24 September 1796 in St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Québec, by licence from His Excellency General Prescott. Rev. Alexander Spark officiated. Present:- Janet Smith (her sister), William Grant, Stephen Sewell (his brother), G. Germaine and S. Franklin.3 Henrietta Smith died on 26 May 1849 in Québec at the age of 73 after an illness of about 6 weeks.1 She was buried by Rev.
