She will be profoundly missed by her family and friends, especially Linda, Trevor, Angela and Amy.
Born in London, England Jenifer began teaching in Ottawa when she was 19 and upon retiring, became an instrumental member of the Retired Women Teachers of Ontario (RWTO). Jenifer’s love of skiing led to her meeting Ken at Sommet Edelweiss. After dating less than a year, they married on Christmas Eve.
Avid travelers, “Jenn & Ken” took their family on adventures all over the world and created many happy memories of evening skates on the canal, cross-country and downhill skiing, and seasonal nature hikes throughout the region. Jenifer expressed her innate creativity through tole painting, gardening and cooking, and took great joy in hosting get-togethers with her dearest card-making friends. Sincere thanks to the staff of the Ottawa General Hospital for their outstanding and compassionate care.
