Storer Sewall married Lucy Moulton, daughter of Colonel Jeremiah Moulton and Hannah Sayward, on 12 January 1785.2 On 20 February 1790 he is recorded as being a tanner in York, Maine. Storer Sewall died on 7 February 1823 in York, Maine, at the age of 69.4

Mrs. Merriam was a homemaker and she cherished her family and friends. She was a very compassionate and caring person. She loved watching the sunrise in Rockport with her husband, Richard, and she loved the ocean. She also enjoyed going to Mohegan Sun with friends.
Family members include her loving husband of 49 years, Richard Merriam; her sons, Richard Merriam Jr. of Danvers, John Merriam and his wife, Lisa, of Middleton, and Michael Merriam and his wife, Jessica, of Marblehead; her daughter, Kathy McDermott and her husband, John, of Tewksbury; and her brothers, Philip Sewall Jr. of California and Jeffrey Sewall of Florida.
She was also the cherished grandmother of John, Jason, Brian, Kathryn, Christopher and Aidan.
Her funeral service was held November 4 at the Union Congregational Church, 148 Haverhill St., North Reading.2

Ellis.1 She graduated in 1851 from Jacksonville Academy for Young Women.1 She married firstly Abiel Fry, son of Charles Frederick Fry and Matilda Buck, on 12 November 1867 at Jacksonville at the home of her mother. The couple settled in Muscatine, Iowa.1,2 Susan Elizabeth Sewall and Abiel Fry appear on the census of 1870 where he is listed as a clerk in the treasury?3 Susan Elizabeth Sewall married secondly Rev. William Barnes D.D. on 1 August 1878 in Jacksonville.1,2 Susan Elizabeth Sewall died in 1915 in Cass County, Illinois, s.p. but left a step-son, Judge Charles Barnes.4,5 She is buried in Chandlerville Cemetery, Chandlerville, Cass County, Illinois.6
She was a charter member of the Rev. James Caldwell D.A.R., Jacksonville, Illinois. It is entirely due to her efforts that the records of this branch of the family are so complete and all the data was in her possession at her death. She continued to live at the Barnes homestead, 415 West State Street, Jacksonville.1

She was born on 6 June 1875 in Farmington, Maine, (some sources give the following year.)2,3 She was the daughter of Deacon Calvin Davenport Sewall and Eliza Taylor Moore.2 Susie Isabel Sewall married Herbert Colman Hunter, son of Alvah Hunter, on 18 August 1908 in the Old South Church, Farmington, Maine, The Rev. Oliver Dana Sewall (the brother of the bride) officiated.4 Susie Isabel Sewall lived at Washington, District of Columbia.2 She died on 29 July 1955 in Whitehall Sanitarium, Falls Church, at the age of 80.3
Mrs. Herbert C. Hunter, 80, former teacher of drawing at Sidwell Friends School in Washington, died Friday at Whitehall Sanatarium, Falls Church, Va.
Mrs. Hunter was the former Isabel Sewall, a native of Farmington. Va. She was graduated from normal school in Farmington in 1893, and after teaching elementary grades in Maine, she studied at Massachusetts Normal Art School.
Her late husband, to whom she was married in 1908, worked with the Weather Bureau here. From 1909 until her recent illness Mrs. Hunter lived near Franklin Park, Fairfax County, Va.
She joined the teaching staff at Sidwell Friends School in 1915, and except for a year at McKinley High School in 1917-18, she was at Friends until her retirement in 1934.
Survivors include two sons, Richard S. Hunter. 5420 Brier Ridge road, Falls Church, and Gilbert T. Hunter, Indianapolis, Ind.: a sister, Mrs. Helen S. Hunter, Boston; and five grandsons.
A memorial service will be held September 11 at Rock Spring Church, Arlington, Va., where she was a charter member. Burial will be in Newburyport. Mass.5

Tabitha Sewall was born in 1753.1 She was baptised on 25 November 1753 at York, Maine.2,3 She was the daughter of John Sewall and Mary Sayward.1 Tabitha Sewall married General Henry Sewall, son of Henry Sewall and Abigail Titcomb, on 9 February 1786 in Georgetown.3 Tabitha was mentally disturbed for a number of years before her death and it appears that she was committed to an asylum in 1801.3 Tabitha Sewall died on 19 June 1810 in Augusta, Maine, at the age of 56.3
