     John Poore was the son of Jonathan Poore and Sarah Dole.¹ John Poore died on 3 July 1764.¹

     John/1 Poore was born in 1615.² He married Sarah (Unknown) before 1642.^3,4 John/1 Poore was living in Newbury.⁵ He died on 23 November 1684 he is said to have lost his way whilst hunting for game in the woods and perished.⁶

     Sibylle de Porcien was the daughter of Roger Comte de Château-Porcien and Ermengarde (Unknown).¹ Sibylle de Porcien married firstly Godefroi Comte de Namur, son of Albert III Comte de Namur and Ida von Sachsen, probably in 1087.¹ Sibylle de Porcien was divorced in 1104 on the grounds of her adultery with Enguerand de Boves Sire de Coucy which resulted in her fleeing her husband before giving birth to an illegitimate child.¹

     Aaron Porter was born on 9 July 1714.¹ He died young.¹ He was the son of Rev. Aaron Porter and Susannah Sewall.¹

     Minister of the Congregational Church at Medford, Massachusetts. Rev. Aaron Porter was born on 19 July 1689 in Hadley, Massachusetts.^2,3 He was the son of Samuel Porter and Joanna Cook.² Rev. Aaron Porter graduated in 1708 from Harvard.² He was ordained on 11 February 1713 at Medford as pastor of the Congregational Church.³ He married Susannah Sewall, daughter of Major Stephen Sewall and Margaret Mitchell, on 22 October 1713 in Salem, Essex County, Massachusetts.^2,4 Rev. Aaron Porter died on 23 January 1721/22 in Medford, Massachusetts, at the age of 32^5,3,6 and is buried in Salem Street Burying Ground, Medford, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁷

     Bolton Smith Porter was born on 30 August 1820.¹ He was the son of Lieut. John Porter U.S.N. and Eliza Chauncy Clark.¹ Bolton Smith Porter was christened on 4 November 1820 at Portsmouth, Rockingham County, New Hampshire.¹ He married Mary Ann Lindsley on 28 January 1852 in District of Columbia.² Bolton Smith Porter was lost at sea after 18 September 1860 in the Pacific between Hawaii and Panama.      Caroline Elizabeth Porter was born on 20 November 1826 in Machias, Maine.¹ She was the daughter of Rufus King Porter and Emma Elizabeth Cooper.¹

     Charles Wendell Porter was born on 1 May 1823 in Machias, Maine.¹ He was the son of Rufus King Porter and Emma Elizabeth Cooper.¹ Charles Wendell Porter graduated in 1843 from Bowdoin.¹ He married Susan Ellen Lockwood on 1 September 1864.¹ Charles Wendell Porter died on 3 February 1913 in District of Columbia at the age of 89² and is buried in West Batavia Cemetery, Batavia, Illinois.

     Emma Jane Porter was born on 4 September 1821 in Machias, Maine.¹ She was the daughter of Rufus King Porter and Emma Elizabeth Cooper.¹ Emma Jane Porter died on 19 July 1866 in Chicago, Illinois, at the age of 44 unmarried.¹
