SEWALL – Gladys Isabella Sewall of Brooks, Alberta died on March 2, 1993 in the Brooks Health Centre Auxiliary Wing at the age of 95 years.
     She was born in 1897 at Lanark, Ontario and moved to Winnipeg at the age of nine and to Etzicom, Alberta in 1914 with her parents where they homesteaded. She married in 1918 and moved to Calgary and to Brooks in 1963 where she had resided since.
     She was predeceased by her husband, Bud in March, 1970, her eldest son, Robert in July 1970 and a grandson, James Murray in February, 1988. Surviving are a son, Tom (Betty) of Brooks, daughter, Bernye Murray of Lentzville, B.C., daughter-in-law, Bette (Bob) of Millicent, nine grandchildren, 13 great-grand children and numerous nieces and nephews.
     Graveside service was held at the Brooks Cemetery on Friday, March 5 at 11 a.m. with the Reverend David Asher officiating. Pallbearers were Chad Sewall, Brad Sewall, John Sewall, Cliff Sewall, Danny Sewall and Scott Sewall.2
