     Mary Elizabeth Norris was born on 28 September 1869 in Green Bay, Brown County, Wisconsin.^2,3 She was the daughter of John Mahan Norris and Grace Eastman.^2,1 Mary Elizabeth Norris married Samuel Lovatt Sewall, son of Edmund Quincy Sewall and Louisa Kilham Lovett, on 2 June 1909 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.^2,4 Mary Elizabeth Norris died on 10 August 1956 in Hennepin County, Minnesota, at the age of 86⁵ and is buried in Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota.⁶
