     Sir James Mouat K.C.B., V.C., Q.H.S. was born on 14 April 1815 in Chatham, Kent.¹ He was the son of Surgeon James Mouat.² Educated at University College, London and Paris. Sir James Mouat won his V.C. in the Crimea on 25 Oct. 1854. "For voluntarily going to the assistance of Major Morris, 17th Lancers, who was lying badly wounded in an exposed position after the Balaclava charge, and saving that officer's life by dressing his wounds in presence of the enemy." London Gazette 4 June 1858. He was also awarded the French Legion d'Honneur and was later knighted by Queen Victoria. He was appointed Surgeon General in 1864 and served in that role until 1868 he finally retired on half pay 28 April 1876. In 1895 he is listed as an Honorary Surgeon to the Queen.³ Sir James Mouat K.C.B., V.C., Q.H.S. married Adela Rose Ellen Tindal, daughter of Rev. Nicholas Tindal M.A. and Anne Frances Schweitzer, on 6 October 1859 in St. Peter's Church, Dublin. Sir James Mouat K.C.B., V.C., Q.H.S. died on 4 January 1899 at 108 Palace Gardens Terrace, Kensington, London, at the age of 83⁴ and is buried in Kensal Green Cemetery.

     Abigail Moulton married Job Lyman.¹

     Allen Curtis Moulton was born on 10 October 1853 in York, Maine.¹ He was the son of William Gardner Moulton and Judith Moulton.¹ Allen Curtis Moulton married as his first wife Elizabeth Anna Sewall, daughter of David Sewall and Mary Celeste Eldridge, on 10 June 1880 in York, Maine, the service was conducted by O.H. Stevens.^1,2 Allen Curtis Moulton married secondly Mary G. Goodwin on 25 June 1930 in Dover, New Hampshire.³ Allen Curtis Moulton died on 13 April 1935 at the age of 81⁴ and is buried in First Parish Cemetery, York Village, York County, Maine.⁵

     Col. Daniel Moulton was living in West Newbury.¹

     Dorcas Moulton was born on 25 June 1726 in York.² She married John Heard Bartlett on 15 October 1747 in 1st Parish, York, Maine, they had eleven children.¹ Dorcas Moulton died on 29 January 1788 in Kittery at the age of 61.²

     Hannah Moulton was born on 2 January 1756 in York, Maine.² She was the daughter of Colonel Jeremiah Moulton and Hannah Sayward.² Hannah Moulton married Samuel Sewall, son of Samuel Sewall and Hannah Kelly, on 20 May 1773 in York, Maine.² Hannah Moulton died before 4 December 1805 in York, Maine.³

     Hannah Matilda Moulton was the daughter of Col. Daniel Moulton.¹ Hannah Matilda Moulton married Ichabod Titcomb, son of Ichabod Titcomb and Hannah Gale, on 3 March 1836.¹

     Colonel Jeremiah Moulton married Hannah Sayward.²

     Judith Moulton married William Gardner Moulton.¹

     Judith P. Moulton was born circa 22 August 1891 in York, Maine.² She was the daughter of Allen Curtis Moulton and Elizabeth Anna Sewall.¹ Judith P. Moulton died on 11 May 1893.³

     Lucy Moulton was born on 9 November 1757 in York, Maine.² She was the daughter of Colonel Jeremiah Moulton and Hannah Sayward.^3,4 Lucy Moulton married Storer Sewall, son of Samuel Sewall and Hannah Kelly, on 12 January 1785.⁵ Lucy Moulton died on 14 January 1800 in York, Maine, at the age of 42^1,6 and is buried in Old York Cemetery, York Village, York County, Maine.⁷

     Lucy Moulton married Daniel Clark.

     Mary Moulton was born on 14 January 1681/82. She was the daughter of Capt. Jeremiah Moulton. Mary Moulton married Col. Johnson Harmon. Mary Moulton died on 17 April 1751 at the age of 69.

     William Gardner Moulton married Judith Moulton.¹

     Caroline Mount married William Timpson, son of Thomas Timpson and Catherine van Toren.¹

     Edith Anna Mount was born on 21 November 1902 in North Dorchester Township, Middlesex, Ontario.^1,2 She married Francis Alexander Walden, son of John L. Walden and Violet A. Akin, on 4 July 1928 in Toledo, Ohio.¹ Edith Anna Mount and Francis Alexander Walden were later divorced.

     Ethel Redford Mount was born circa 1880 in New York.² She was the daughter of Redford Job Mount and Ella Cornelia Smith.^1,2 Ethel Redford Mount married Henry Foster Sewall, son of Charles Joseph Sewall and Annie Brooks Wellman, on 13 May 1905 in Grace Church, White Plains, New York.^3,4 Ethel Redford Mount and Henry Foster Sewall appear on the census of 1910 at Manhattan, New York, they were living with her parents. He is an insurance agent.³ Ethel Redford Mount died on 22 January 1927 in St. Vincent's Hospital, New York City, New York.⁵

     Redford Job Mount was born on 13 February 1839 in Freehold, New Jersey.² He married Ella Cornelia Smith on 2 September 1869 in Manhattan, New York.³ Redford Job Mount died on 16 November 1918 in Manhattan, New York City, New York, at the age of 79.^4,5

     Ann Mountford is also recorded as Hannah Mumford.² She arrived in September 1632; on the ship Ellen.² She married Rev. John Eliot, son of Bennett Eliot and Lettice Aggar, on 4 September 1632 in Roxbury, Massachusetts, This date is more likely to be sometime in October otherwise it would pre-date the bride's arrival in New England.¹ Ann Mountford died on 22 March 1686 in Roxbury, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.³

     Maurice des Moustiers Merinville married Frances Gallatin Stevens, daughter of Frederick William Stevens and Adele Caroline Livingston Sampson, on 28 July 1914 in Paris.¹

     Amy Moyle was the daughter of Sir Thomas Moyle.¹ Amy Moyle married Sir Thomas Kempe of Ollantigh, son of Sir William Kempe of Ollantigh and Eleanor Browne, on 19 January 1550 in Eastwell, Kent,¹ and is buried on 17 August 1557 in Wye, Kent.¹

     Joan Moyne was the daughter of Henry Moyne.¹ Joan Moyne married firstly Sir Thomas Arundel of Betchworth, son of John de Arundel, Lord Maltravers and Elizabeth le Despencer.¹ Joan Moyne married John Burden before September 1436.¹

     Aethelred Mucel, Ealdorman of the Gainas married Princess Edburga of Mercia.¹

     Blacksmith of Kittery, Maine.² George W. Muchmore was born in December 1834 in New Hampshire.³ He married Amelia A. Blaney on 3 May 1856 in Kittery, Maine.⁴ George W. Muchmore died in 1916.⁵

     Jane Anne Muchmore was born in September 1844 in New Hampshire.¹ She married Joseph Alba Sewall, son of David Sewall and Mary Celeste Eldridge, on 29 September 1862 in Kittery, Maine, they had five children only one of whom was living at the time of the 1900 Census.³ Jane Anne Muchmore and Joseph Alba Sewall appear on the census of 1900 at York, Maine, he is listed as a house carpenter, they have one lodger as well as their son.¹ Jane Anne Muchmore died in 1924⁴ and is buried in First Parish Cemetery, York Village, Maine.⁵

     Marietta Muchmore was born on 26 July 1857 in Kittery, Maine.^2,1 She was the daughter of George W. Muchmore and Amelia A. Blaney.¹ Marietta Muchmore married Frank Ernest Sewall, son of Capt. Joseph Sewall and Eliza Jane Trafton, circa 1879.² Marietta Muchmore is recorded as Mary E. Sewall in the 1900 Census. She and Frank Ernest Sewall appear on the census of 1910 at York, Maine, he is a farmer.³ Marietta Muchmore appears on the census of 1930 at York, Maine, living with her son Ernest and his wife.⁴ She died on 7 April 1943 in York Beach at the age of 85¹ and is buried in First Parish Cemetery, York Village, York County, Maine.⁵

     Mary Anne Muchmore (widow Furbish) was born on 10 November 1836 in New Hampshire.^2,3 She married David Sewall, son of Joseph Sewall and Abigail H. Gray, on 12 November 1868 in Kittery, Maine, Marriage conducted by Rev. H. Chase. By the time of the 1900 Census only one of their four children was still living.^4,5 Mary Anne Muchmore (widow Furbish) died on 20 December 1921 in York, Maine, at the age of 85.³
