Funeral services for Mrs. Marietta M. Sewell, who died in York Beach Wednesday, were held from The Roger K Lucas funeral home Friday afternoon. Rev. W.H. Millinger, of the First Parish church, and Rev. W.H. Harris of the Union Congregational church, York Beach, conducted the service.
Mrs Sewall was born in Kittery July 26, 1857, the daughter of George W. and Pamela (Blaney) Muchmore. She was educated in Kittery schools.
Mrs. Sewall was the widow of Frank E. Sewall of York. She had lived here for 63 years and was a member of the First Parish church (Congregational), a charter member of the King's Daughters, a member of the Order of Eastern Star, and of the American Legion auxiliary.⁶

Alice (Mullane) O'Donnell 78, of Swampscott, formerly of Salem, beloved wife of the late Philip J. "Gus" O'Donnell, died peacefully July 19, 2006, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House, surrounded by her family.
Born in Danvers, May 13, 1928, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Alice G. (Sewall) Mullane.
She was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of Salem High School. Upon her graduation, she had been employed at Connolly's Candy where she met many of her lifelong friends.
In the early part of her marriage, Mrs. O'Donnell had been employed by American Airlines where she was named employee of the year. More recently, she was employed as a medical secretary until the time of her retirement.
A dedicated and devoted mother and wife, her defining feature was her family; she found great comfort and joy in knowing that all of her children are the best of friends.
Mrs. O'Donnell was a longtime resident of the city of Salem, until moving to Swampscott 10 years ago. She was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church in Salem.
She was known for her vibrant personality and enthusiastic spirit, as evident by her wide group of loyal friends who will dearly miss her.
Mrs. O'Donnell is survived by her two daughters and sons-inlaw, Kathleen and William French of Salem and Deborah and Eric O'Leary of Peabody; two sons and daughters-in-law, Philip and Sandra O'Donnell of Salem and John and Christine O'Donnell of Salem; four grandchildren, Elizabeth O'Leary, twins Rachael and Alaina O'Donnell and Peter O'Donnell; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and extended family.
She was also sister of the late Phyllis Rardin and Nancy R. Beaulieu.
Her funeral was held July 22 from The O'Donnell Funeral Home of Salem, followed by a funeral Mass celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church, Salem. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery, Salem.

Nancy R. (Mullane) Beaulieu, of Danvers, died peacefully July 11, 2006, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.

She was born on Christmas Eve in 1923 in Danvers and was raised and educated in Salem, returning to Danvers to raise her family. Family was her love; art was her passion. She could always see possibilities in an individual's vision. Entertaining was an art to her as well. She was always adjusted just right to whomever she was expecting with the anticipation and excitement of providing the guest with grace. She bravely faced each issue in life with determination that she would get to the bottom of it and get it fixed. There were so many things she wanted to see completed, with her husband, Wilfred, at her side.
Her "occupation" was being an artist, wife and mother. Her organizational and secretarial skills were met while working until retirement in 1984. Mrs. Beaulieu was a charter member of the Danvers Art Association, keeping meticulous records and information during its development. She was a true believer in the vision of the future home of the Danvers Art Association at the former Williams School.
In addition to her devoted husband of 54 years, Wilfred J. Beaulieu, Mrs. Beaulieu is survived by her sons, Thomas P. Beaulieu and his companion, Lori Brown, of Santa Monica, Calif. and Daniel J. Beaulieu and his wife, Leslie, of Magnolia; a daughter, Ruth Ann Sandland and her husband, Mark, of Beverly; and her granddaughters, Charlotte Sandland of Beverly and Emma and Kate Beaulieu of Magnolia, her three sunshines.
She is also survived by her loving and devoted sister, Alice (Mullane) O'Donnell of Swampscott, formerly of Salem; many nieces and nephews; and her dear, devoted forever friend, Eleanor Bowden of Beverly. She was also the sister of the late Phyllis (Mullane) (Keane) Rardin.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, July 15 at 8:15 a.m. from the Peterson- O'Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St. (Route 62), Danvers, followed by a funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, Danvers. Relatives and friends invited. Burial will be in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. Visiting hours are Friday, July 14, 2- 4 and 7-9 p.m.²
