     Claude Arthur Monypenny Lillingston was born on 27 July 1861.¹ He was the son of Rev. Frederick Arthur Cecil Lillingston and Charlotte Jane Monypenny.¹ Claude Arthur Monypenny Lillingston was baptised on 28 August 1861 at Depford by the Rev. James I. Monypenny.¹ He married Rosa A.F. Crookshank on 18 October 1890 in Santa Barbara, California.² Claude Arthur Monypenny Lillingston died on 3 June 1925 in Santa Barbara, California, at the age of 63.^3,4

     Eleanor Barbara Cecil Lillingston was born on 26 November 1887 in Clapham, London.² She was the daughter of Rev. Frederick Arthur Cecil Lillingston and Eleanor Lucy Coode.¹ Eleanor Barbara Cecil Lillingston was baptised on 6 January 1888 at St. James', Clapham.² Eleanor's death was registered in the quarter ending June 1972 in the Bristol registration district.³

     Rev. Frederick Arthur Cecil Lillingston was born circa 1837 in Ipswich, Suffolk. He married firstly Charlotte Jane Monypenny, daughter of Rev. James Isaac Monypenny of Pitmilly and Mary Blackwell Monypenny, on 5 September 1860 in Hadlow, Kent. The service was performed by the Rev. Henry Sewell, vicar of Headcorn, uncle of the bride, assited by the Rev. Edward Lillingston, incumbent of St. George's, Brimingham and uncle of the bridegroom.^1,2 In 1886 he was one of the executors of Rev. Henry Doyle Sewell's estate. Rev. Frederick Arthur Cecil Lillingston married secondly Eleanor Lucy Coode, daughter of Sir John Coode K.C.M.G. and Jane Dod Price, on 20 July 1886 in St. John's, Paddington, London, the celebration being performed by the Rev. James Fleming, B.D., Canon of York Cathedral, and Vicar of St Michael's, Chester Square, London, assisted by the Rev. Sir Emalius Bayley, Bart., the Vicar.³ Rev. Frederick Arthur Cecil Lillingston died on 17 November 1908 in Bristol.⁴

     Dr. Bela Lincoln married Hannah Quincy, daughter of Josiah /1 Quincy and Hannah Sturgis, on 1 May 1760.²

     Sarah Lambert Lincoln was born on 31 March 1858 in Maine.^2,3 She appears on the census of 1880 where she is listed by her aunt, Lucy H. Blair, as being at sea with her sister, Mary E. Lincoln and her brother William P. Lincoln, who is a ship master (at the age of 36). The only one at home with the aunt is Celia E. Lincoln (aged 27.)⁴ She married Capt. Joseph Ellis Sewall, son of Colonel Frederic Dummer Sewall and Evelina Hill Gove, on 21 June 1882 in Bath, Sagadahoc County, Maine.¹ Sarah Lambert Lincoln and Capt. Joseph Ellis Sewall appear on the census of 1910 at Bath, Maine; listed as a boarder with them is a Celia E. Lincoln, born ca. 1854 in Maine.² Sarah Lambert Lincoln died on 2 March 1923 at the age of 64³ and is buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, Bath, Sagadahoc County, Maine.³

     Harry Herman Linde was born on 2 April 1880 in St. Louis, Missouri.³ He was the son of R.A. Linde. Harry Herman Linde married firstly Nannie Sewall, daughter of John Albert Sewall and Fannie E. "Nannie" Doles, in 1903.¹ Harry Herman Linde died on 23 June 1949 in Orleans, Louisiana, at the age of 69.^4,5

     Mildred Sewall Linde was born on 23 December 1917 in St. Louis, Missouri.¹ She was the daughter of Harry Herman Linde and Nannie Sewall.¹ Mildred Sewall Linde died on 7 November 2005 at the age of 87.²

     John Frederick Linden married Ruth Martha Phelps.

     Priscilla Elizabeth Linden was born on 29 February 1932 in Minnesota.² She was the daughter of John Frederick Linden and Ruth Martha Phelps. Priscilla Elizabeth Linden married Duane Lyle Sewall, son of Gordon Donald Sewall and Ida May Forshier.¹ Priscilla Elizabeth Linden and Duane Lyle Sewall were divorced on 20 April 1984 at Hennepin County, Minnesota.³ Priscilla Elizabeth Linden died on 24 April 2005 in St. Louis Park, Hennepin County, Minnesota, at the age of 73.^2,4 and is buried in Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota.⁶

     Blanche Lindsay was born on 18 October 1881 in Yorkville, South Carolina.^1,2,3 She was the daughter of John Robert Lindsay and Blanche Adickes.¹ Blanche Lindsay died in May 1979 in York, South Carolina, at the age of 97.⁴

     David Lindsay First Earl of Crawford was born circa 1360.² He married Katherine (also called Jean or Elizabeth) Stewart, daughter of Robert Stewart, Robert II, King of Scotland and Euphemia of Ross, in 1375 by dispensation dated 22 Feb 1374/75.^1,2 David Lindsay First Earl of Crawford. Admiral of Scotland in 1403.² He died in February 1407.²

     Elizabeth Lindsay was the daughter of David Lindsay First Earl of Crawford and Katherine (also called Jean or Elizabeth) Stewart.¹ Elizabeth Lindsay married Robert Erskine, Lord Erskine (later) Earl of Mar circa 20 December 1400.²

     Fredrica Lindsay was born on 22 November 1889 in York, South Carolina.² She was the daughter of John Robert Lindsay and Blanche Adickes.¹

     Dr. John Franklin Lindsay was born on 18 February 1824.^1,2 He married Rosanna Whitman Gardiner Trott, daughter of James Fullerton Trott and Elizabeth Jane Winslow, in 1845.¹ Dr. John Franklin Lindsay died on 20 May 1898 at the age of 74^1,2 and is buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, York, York County, South Carolina.³

Adickes and Mary Withers, in 1880.¹ John Robert Lindsay died on 21 June 1923 at the age of 66^3,2 and is buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, York, York County, South Carolina.⁴

     Frances Hall Lindsly was born on 17 June 1829.¹ She was the daughter of Dr. Harvey Lindsly and Emeline Cony Webster.¹ Frances Hall Lindsly married Rev. Edward A. Washburn DD on 10 June 1854.¹ Frances Hall Lindsly died on 30 March 1892 at the age of 62.¹
