Mary worked as a Registered Nurse at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in pediatrics, and directed its ante-partum program for many years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and P.E.O. International.
Mary is survived by her children, Peg Fitzpatrick of Philadelphia, PA; Patrick (Laura) Sewall of Boise, ID; Tom (Carol) Sewall of Agawam, MA; and Theresa (Todd) Hollander of New Orleans, LA; eight grandchildren, Matt, Leigh, Kathleen, Jessica, Greg, Steven (Moriah), Spencer, and Alex; sister Virginia "Ginger" (Jim) North of Des Moines, IA.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister Delpha Keller.3

He also leaves his mother, Mrs. Elinor Janeway of South Londonderry and three sisters in Massachusetts, Mrs. William Athorp of Concord, Mrs. Thomas Sherwood of Manchester and Betsy Janeway of Lancaster.
Also two brothers, Edward J. of Lexington, Mass. and Harold of Bedford, N.Y.
