Boston 18 August 1663 as his first wife James Allen, but this marriage does not appear in the published vital records, and the numbers in this supposed date are a transposition of the stated marriage date of James Allen to Elizabeth (Houchin) Endicott, 31 August 1668. Torrey lists all three marriages.2,3,1,4 James Allen married secondly Elizabeth Houchin on 31 August 1668 at Boston.1 James Allen married thirdly Sarah Hawkins on 11 September 1673 at Boston.1,4
