Entered the service of the Canadian Bank of Commerce, 3rd February, 1913. Enlisted, January, 1916, from Secretarial Department, Head Office, Toronto, in 220th Canadian Battalion, with the rank of Lieutenant. Transferred to Canadian Forestry Corps, April, 1917; Central Ontario Regiment, 1918. Service: Staff Headquarters, Canadian Forestry Corps, London; Adjutant and Quartermaster, various Canadian Forestry Corps units, England and France. Demobilized 25th August, 1919. Returned to duty with the Bank, 2nd September, 1919.⁴ James Noel Bellasyse Colley married Frances Marion Temple, daughter of Dr. James Algernon Temple and Alice Erie Douglas Heu-de-Bourck, on 25 May 1916 in Toronto.¹

     Bethiah Collicut was the daughter of Edward Collicut and Thomazin (Unknown).² Bethiah Collicut married Rev. Daniel Gookin Jr., son of Hon. Daniel Gookin and Mary Dolling, on 21 July 1692 in Sherborn.^1,3 Bethiah Collicut died on 12 December 1729 in Dedham.⁴
