     John Travers Tindal was born on 4 June 1860 in Ramornie, Clarence River, New South Wales.2 He was the son of Charles Grant Tindal and Anne Amory Travers.1 John Travers Tindal married Mary Isabella Ogilvie, daughter of Hon. E.D. Ogilvie, on 20 June 1888.1 John Travers Tindal died on 30 August 1926 in Darlinghurst, Sydney, New South Wales, at the age of 66
Obituary.-The death occurred in a private hospital at Darlinghurst of Mr. John Travers Tindal, of Tatiara, Glen Innes. The deceased gentleman, who was 66 years of age, was bom at Ra- mornie, Clarence River, and was a son of the late Mr. Charles Grant Tindal, father of the Australian meat export trade. Through the medium of the Ramornie meatworks, deceased's father pioneered the tinned meat export, and established for the Ramornie products a reputation without equal throughout the world. Educated in England, the late Mr. Tindal returned to Australia, and married Miss Ogilvie, a sister of Mr. W. F. Ogilvie, of Ilparran. After a long period of residence on the Clarence River, the late Mr. Tindal acquired Tatiara from Mr. John Strang, and resided in the Glen Innes district until early this year, when he disposed of his Glen Innes interests. The late Mr. Tindal is survived by his widow and four daughters - Mrs. Travers (Singapore), Misses Dorothy, Freda, and Marjory. His only son was killed in the Great War.3,4

     Nicholas Tindal was born on 5 January 1848.1 He was the son of Acton Tindal and Henrietta Euphemia Harrison.1 Nicholas Tindal married Elizabeth Carill-Worsley, daughter of Charles Carill-Worsley, on 17 April 1875.1 His assumed by royal licence the surname and arms of Tindal-Carill-Worsley in 1878.1 Nicholas Tindal died on 27 November 1910 in Plas Teg, Mold, at the age of 62.2

     Rev. Nicholas Tindal. The historian. Fellow of Trinity College, Oxford, rector of Alverstoke, Hampshire, vicar of Waltham, Essex, rector of Colebourne, Isle of Wight, Chaplain of Greenwich Hospital, and translator and continuator of Rapin's History of England.1 He was born on 25 November 1687 in Plymouth, Devon.2 He was the son of Rev. John Tindal and Elizabeth Prideaux.1 Rev. Nicholas Tindal married firstly Anne Keate on 29 January 1710.1 Rev. Nicholas Tindal proceeded in 1713 from Exeter College, Oxford, MA.2 He married secondly Elizabeth Judith Gugelman on 11 August 1753 in the chapel of Greenwich Hospital.2 Rev. Nicholas Tindal died on 27 June 1774 in Greenwich Hospital at the age of 86.2 He was buried on 2 July 1774 in Goddard's Garden, Greeenwich.2
