Rev. Nicholas Tindal. The historian. Fellow of Trinity College, Oxford, rector of Alverstoke, Hampshire, vicar of Waltham, Essex, rector of Colebourne, Isle of Wight, Chaplain of Greenwich Hospital, and translator and continuator of Rapin's History of England.¹ He was born on 25 November 1687 in Plymouth, Devon.² He was the son of Rev. John Tindal and Elizabeth Prideaux.¹ Rev. Nicholas Tindal married firstly Anne Keate on 29 January 1710.¹ Rev. Nicholas Tindal proceeded in 1713 from Exeter College, Oxford, MA.² He married secondly Elizabeth Judith Gugelman on 11 August 1753 in the chapel of Greenwich Hospital.² Rev. Nicholas Tindal died on 27 June 1774 in Greenwich Hospital at the age of 86.² He was buried on 2 July 1774 in Goddard's Garden, Greeenwich.²

Nicholas Tindal M.A. married Anne Frances Schweitzer, daughter of John George Schweitzer, on 9 April 1839 in St. Sidwell's Church, Exeter, Devon, the service was conducted by the Rev. S.J. Lott.³ Rev. Nicholas Tindal M.A. died on 25 August 1842 at the age of 32.⁴

Clerk of the Peace and Treasurer of Buckinghamshire.¹ He was born on 31 August 1783.¹ He was the son of Robert Tindal and Sarah Pocock.¹ Thomas Tindal was living in Prebendal House, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.¹ He married firstly Anne Chaplin, daughter of Acton Chaplin, on 25 January 1809.¹ Thomas Tindal married secondly Mary Anne Uhtoff, daughter of Rev. Henry Uhtoff, on 12 December 1816.¹ Thomas Tindal died on 26 July 1850 in Scarborough, Yorkshire, at the age of 66.^2,3
