     Eliza Janet Sewell was born on 21 July 1819 in Quebec.¹ She was the daughter of Chief Justice Jonathan/3 Sewell and Henrietta Smith.² Eliza Janet Sewell was baptised on 9 September 1819 at Holy Trinity Church, Quebec, by George Jehosaphat Mountain. William Burns, Elizabeth Taylor and Jane Sewell were Godparents.¹ She married John Ross, son of Hon. David Ross K.C., in June 1844 in Quebec Marriage bond dated 1 June 1844 before Louis Panet, Notaire.³ Eliza Janet Sewell died on 8 May 1875 in Glenfield, Quebec, at the age of 55.^4,5 She was buried on 10 May 1875 in Mount Hermon Cemetery, plot 336, Quebec.⁴

     Elizabeth Sewell was born in 1768.² She was the daughter of Jonathan/2 Sewell and Esther Quincy.¹ Elizabeth Sewell is also recorded as "Betsey".³ She died in November 1776.

     Elizabeth Caldwell Sewell was born on 11 April 1802.² She was the daughter of Stephen Sewell K.C. and Jane Caldwell.² Elizabeth Caldwell Sewell was baptised on 24 May 1802 at Christ Church Cathedral, Montreal.¹ She died on 9 January 1803.³ She was buried on 11 January 1803 in Montreal.^3,4

     Emily Sewell was born on 2 March 1857.² She was the daughter of Robert Shore Milnes Sewell and Louisa F. Wicksteed.¹ Emily Sewell died in 1936.¹

     Emily Susanna Sewell was born on 14 July 1831 in Quebec, Canada.³ She was the daughter of Robert Shore Milnes Sewell and Louisa Janet Smith.² Emily Susanna Sewell was baptised on 27 September 1831 at Holy Trinity Church, Quebec.³ She married Ambrose Hickey on 26 August 1856 in Quebec.⁴ Emily Susanna Sewell married Rev. John Hodgson MA, FSA, FGS on 30 June 1864 in Chilvers Coton, Nuneaton, Warwickshire.¹ Emily Susanna Sewell and Rev. John Hodgson MA, FSA, FGS appeared in the 1881 census at The Vicarage, Kinver, Staffordshire. With two domestic staff, a cook and a housemaid from the village.⁵ Emily's death was registered in the quarter ending March 1893 in the Wolverhampton registration district.⁶

     Emma Lavinia Sewell was born on 19 November 1866 in Houghton, Michigan.¹ She was the daughter of Frederick George Sewell and Jane Edwards.¹ Emma Lavinia Sewell married William T. Gray on 3 September 1890 in Houghton.¹ Emma Lavinia Sewell died on 12 September 1954 in Houghton, Michigan, at the age of 87 buried Forest Hills Cemetery.¹

     Eric Buchan Sewell was born on 16 March 1904.² He was the son of Colin James Sewell and Robina Buchan Blackburn.¹ Eric Buchan Sewell died on 17 June 1906 in Quebec.¹ He was buried on 19 June 1906 in Mount Hermon cemetery, Quebec.^1,2

     Eric Deardon Sewell was originally recorded as Arthur Deardon Sewell in the register of births his father requested that the name be changed to Eric, possibly in March 1903. He married Helen "Muriel" O'Connor.³ Eric Deardon Sewell was born on 9 October 1900 in York County, Ontario.^4,1 He was the son of Henry de Quincy Sewell and Caroline Alberta Pense.² Eric Deardon Sewell died in 1981.²

     Ernest Edward Forbes Sewell was born on 6 March 1863.² He was the son of Dr. James Arthur Sewell and Cornelia Janetta Elizabeth Thierens.¹ Ernest Edward Forbes Sewell was baptised on 24 May 1863 at Holy Trinity Church, Quebec, by the Rev. E.W. Sewell.² He died on 13 September 1863 in Quebec "aged six months and six days."² He was buried on 15 September 1863 in Mount Hermon Cemetery Q-374, Sillery, Quebec,, by the Rev. E.W. Sewell.^2,3

     Estella Arbutus Sewell was born in 1895 in Great Falls, Montana.¹ She was the daughter of Frederick Henry Sewell and Martha Marig Hudson.¹ Estella Arbutus Sewell died in 1921 in Great Falls, Montana, s.n.p.¹

     Estelle Mary Sewell was born on 23 July 1892 in Houghton, Michigan.² She was the daughter of William Edwards Sewell and Sara Cullen Owens.² She was a private secretary to the Traffic Manager of the Electric Co. in Milwaukee.² Estelle Mary Sewell died circa 1970 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, unmarried.

     Eva Sewell was born in 1909 in Lebanon, Maine.² She was the daughter of John Edward Taylor Sewell and Emma Mae Ricker.¹ Eva Sewell was living at Phoenix, Arizona, in 1938.¹

     Colonel Evelyn Pierce Sewell C.M.G., D.S.O., M.B., BCh., F.R.C.S. was born on 23 February 1874 in Headcorn, Kent. He was the son of Rev. Henry Doyle Sewell M.A. and Edith Pierce Morgan. Colonel Evelyn Pierce Sewell C.M.G., D.S.O., M.B., BCh., F.R.C.S. was baptised on 8 April 1874 at the Parish Church, Headcorn, Kent, by P. Howard Monypenny.¹ On 1900 he entered military service as a Lt. 25 April 1900; Capt. 25 April 1903; Maj. 27 April 1911; Lt. Col. 1 March 1915; T/Col 7 May 1917 to 21 July 1919; Col. 3 June 1926; retired pay 3 June 1930; ceased Reserve of Officers 23 February 1934.

He married Zébée Maud Jessie Crombie, daughter of Lt. Colonel Alexander Crombie CB, MD and Zébée Minto Bell, on 27 November 1903 in the Cathedral, Bombay, India.² Colonel Evelyn Pierce Sewell C.M.G., D.S.O., M.B., BCh., F.R.C.S. died on 31 August 1960 in hospital, Fleet, Hampshire, at the age of 86.

     Florence Sewell was later known by her stage name of Florence Wallack.² She was born circa 1876 in New York.³ She was the daughter of Arthur Livingston Sewell and Florence Lena Wallack.¹ Florence Sewell married Herbert Raynes.⁴ Florence Sewell and Herbert Raynes are listed on the census of 1920 at Richmond, New York, they appear to have no children as none are mentioned in the 1910 Census.⁵

     Florence De Quincy Sewell was born on 2 June 1852 in Quebec, Province of Quebec, two memorial inscriptions in Mount Hermon cemetery gives the date of 2 June 1852 whilst the 1901 Census shows 2 June 1855.^2,3 She was the daughter of Montague Charles Sewell and Charlotte Elizabeth Mary Bowles Wolff.¹ Florence De Quincy Sewell married Rev. Robert Waller Colston, son of Elizabeth (Unknown), on 15 January 1890.¹ Florence De Quincy Sewell died on 25 July 1939 in her home, St. John, New Brunswick, at the age of 87.¹ She was buried in Mount Hermon Cemetery, Quebec.¹

     Frances Georgina Sewell was also known as Fanny Sewell.¹ She was born on 5 January 1816 in London though in the 1861 Census her age is given as 40.^2,3 She was the daughter of Chief Justice Jonathan/3 Sewell and Henrietta Smith.¹ Frances Georgina Sewell married Major Trevor Humphreys, son of Rear Admiral Sir Salusbury Pryce Humphreys C.B., K.C.H. and Maria Davenport, on 1 July 1837 in Chapel of the Holy Trinity, Quebec, Canada, the service was conducted by the Rev. H.D. Sewell.⁴ Frances Georgina Sewell and Major Trevor Humphreys appeared in the 1861 census at Broomhall Hall, Macclesfield, Cheshire.⁵ Frances Georgina Sewell appears on the census of 1881 at 7 Elphinstone Road, Portsea, Hampshire, a boarding house where she is described as a widow and an annuitant.² She died on 7 December 1885 in Balham, London, England, at the age of 69.¹

     Frances Story Sewell was born on 21 November 1837 in Quebec.³ She was the daughter of Col. John Saint-Albans Sewell and Margaret Hobbs.² Frances Story Sewell was baptised on 6 January 1838 at Chapel of the Holy Trinity, Quebec.³ She married Joshua Thompson on 6 September 1883 in St. Mathew's Church, Quebec.¹ Frances Story Sewell died on 12 April 1935 in Quebec at the age of 97.⁴ She was buried on 15 April 1935 in Mount Hermon Cemetery.⁴

     Francis Georgina Sewell was born on 14 June 1849.¹ She was the daughter of Dr. Stephen Charles Sewell MD, LRCS and Isabella Geddes.¹ Francis Georgina Sewell was baptised on 22 July 1849 at Lennoxville, Quebec.¹ She died on 4 October 1850 at the age of 1.² She was buried on 6 October 1850 in Montreal.²

     Frank Colden Sewell was born on 16 November 1831 in Quebec.³ He was the son of Sheriff William Smith Sewell and Mary Isabella Smith.² Frank Colden Sewell was baptised on 7 January 1832 the godparents were Henry D. Sewell, Thomas Smith and Maria Colden.³ He died on 1 March 1833 in Quebec "aged one year three months sixteen days."¹ He was buried on 3 March 1833 in Quebec.¹

     Frederick George Sewell was born on 31 March 1835 in Quebec City and was privately baptised the same day.³ He was the son of Sheriff William Smith Sewell and Mary Isabella Smith.¹ He was a mining engineer. Frederick George Sewell married Jane Edwards, daughter of Capt. Richard Edwards and Jane Pryor, on 29 April 1857 in Houghton, Michigan.² Frederick George Sewell died on 10 March 1868 in Houghton, Michigan, at the age of 32.² He was buried in Forest Hills Cemetery.²

     Frederick Henry Sewell was also known as Harry Sewell.¹ He was born circa 1858 in Houghton, Michigan.¹ He was the son of Frederick George Sewell and Jane Edwards.^2,1 Frederick Henry Sewell married Martha Marig Hudson, daughter of Levi Hudson, on 11 February 1880 in Sun City, Kansas.¹ Frederick Henry Sewell and Martha Marig Hudson appear on the census of 8 April 1930 at Great Falls, Montana.³ Frederick Henry Sewell died on 23 March 1937 in Great Falls, Montana.⁴

     Frederick William Sewell was born on 22 May 1885 in Great Bend, Kansas.¹ He was the son of Frederick Henry Sewell and Martha Marig Hudson.¹ Frederick William Sewell married Jennie May McCallum in 1908 in Great Falls, Montana.¹ Frederick William Sewell and Jennie May McCallum appear on the census of 1910 at Great Falls, Montana, the census records them as having been married for a year, the baby Fred is at that time still un-named.² Frederick William Sewell and Jennie May McCallum appear on the census of January 1920 at Great Falls, Montana, Frederick William Sewall's occupation is given as sewing machine agent.³ Frederick William Sewell died on 4 August 1967 in Cascade County, Montana, at the age of 82.⁴

     George Edmund Sewell was born on 2 February 1879.¹ He was the son of Edmund William Leveson Sewell and Mary Elizabeth Angelica Hall. George Edmund Sewell was born on 8 May 1879 by George V. Houseman, Rector of Quebec.² He died on 30 December 1881 in Quebec "aged two years and eleven months."³ He was buried on 31 December 1881 in Mount Hermon, plot 725.⁴

     George Trevor Napier Sewell is called Trevor Sewell.³ He was born on 12 April 1860 in Quebec.¹ He was the son of Dr. James Arthur Sewell and Jane Beswick.² George Trevor Napier Sewell was baptised on 18 September 1860 at Chapel of the Holy Trinity by E.W. Sewell.¹ He married Emily Walmsley Welch, daughter of Henry Walmsley Welch and Lucretia Mary Cowan, on 17 September 1891 in St. Andrew's Church, Quebec.⁴ George Trevor Napier Sewell died s.p.²

     Geraldine Eva Constance Sewell was born on 8 February 1909 in Quebec.² She was the daughter of Charles Albert Sewell and Eva Jane Ross.¹ Geraldine Eva Constance Sewell was born on 6 May 1909 in Quebec Charles Ross and Mary Evelyn Ross were the sponsors.² She died on 3 March 1993 in St. Brigid's Home, Sillery, Quebec, at the age of 84 unmarried.^3,4 She was buried on 19 March 1993 in Mount Hermon Cemetery, plot 374.¹

     Geraldine May Sewell was born on 19 November 1830 in Quebec.¹ She was the daughter of Sheriff William Smith Sewell and Mary Isabella Smith.² Geraldine May Sewell was baptised on 25 January 1831 at Quebec.¹ She married Colonel Thomas Bromhead Butt, son of Rev. Thomas Butt, on 14 July 1852 in Trinity Chapel, Quebec, Canada, the service was conducted by the Rev. E.W. Sewell.^3,4 Geraldine May Sewell appeared in the 1881 census at Anerley Park, Penge, Surrey. With three of her daughters and three domestic staff.⁵ She died on 30 April 1898 in London at the age of 67. Her last address was 33 Gloucester Street, Belgrave Road. Her daughter Margaret Lucy Butt was administratrix.⁶

     Geraldine W. Sewell is also recorded as Angelo Louise Sewell which is the name that appears on the registration of her birth but cannot be found on any subsequent record.² She was born on 23 November 1888 in Toronto.³ She was the daughter of Stephen St. Albans Sewell and Clara Priscilla Lepper.¹ Geraldine W. Sewell appears to be recorded as Geraldine W. Sewell in the Census of 1901.³ She died on 7 March 1924 in General Hospital, Toronto, at the age of 35 of thyroid toxaemia.¹

     Gertrude Sewell was born on 2 August 1833 in Quebec.³ She was the daughter of Sheriff William Smith Sewell and Mary Isabella Smith.¹ Gertrude Sewell was baptised on 18 September 1833 at Quebec.³ Gertrude's death was registered in the quarter ending December 1859 in the Dartford, Kent registration district; she died unmarried.⁴

     Gertrude Sewell was born in December 1851 in Sorel, Province of Quebec.^1,2 She was the daughter of Dr. Edward Quincy Sewell and Susan Wilson Haydon.¹ Gertrude Sewell died on 8 May 1927 in the Homeopathic Hospital, Montreal, at the age of 75.^3,1 She was buried on 10 May 1927 in Mount Royal Cemetery, Montreal.^3,1

     Gladys Hope Sewell was born on 24 September 1892 in Belleville, Ontario.² She was the daughter of Reginald Lambton Sewell and Clara Ann Henderson.¹ Gladys Hope Sewell married Dr. James Wells Ross O.B.E. in 1915.³ In April 1915 she signed her attestation papers to serve as a nurse with the Canadian Over-Seas Expeditionary Force. Gladys Hope Sewell died on 3 February 1933 in St. Michael's Hospital, Toronto, at the age of 40 of peritonitis.⁴ She was buried on 6 February 1933 from 133 Dunvegan Road, internment at St. James Cemetery.⁴
