     Henry Paschal Sewall was born on 19 June 1866 in Brooklyn, New York.^1,3 He was the son of Ammi Richamah Sewall and Augusta Sprague.¹ Henry Paschal Sewall died in February 1895 at the age of 28.¹

     Hepsibah Bailey Sewall was born on 3 October 1801 in Georgetown.¹ She was the daughter of Theodore Sewall and Olive Beal.² Hepsibah Bailey Sewall married firstly Benjamin Carleton on 2 July 1823 in Alna, Maine.¹ The marriage intention of Hepsibah Bailey Sewall and Samuel Stanwood was published on 24 February 1827 in Alna, Maine.¹

     Herbert W. Sewall was born on 26 October 1878 in Maine.^1,2 He was the son of Nathan Willis Sewall and Mary Jessie Goding.¹ Herbert W. Sewall married Harriett E Brackett on 21 September 1914 in Wilton, Maine.³ Herbert W. Sewall was employed by G.H. Bass & Co. as a shoe factory foreman in 1918 at Milton, Maine.²

Sewall and Elena M. ? (Unknown) appear on the census of 1870 at Oregon Township, California, which lists him as a miner.³ Hiram S. Sewall and William Sewall appear on the census of 1880 at Lakeview, Lake, Oregon, listed as traveling with three drovers on a cattle drive. By this stage Hiram Sewall is divorced.²

     Homer Sewall. A banker and a broker.² He was born on 8 February 1889 in Waltham, Massachusetts.^1,2 He was the son of Benjamin Bowman Sewall and Dulcenia Harris.¹ Homer Sewall married Marjorie Hartwell, daughter of Harry F. Hartwell, on 7 October 1914 in Christ Church, Waltham, Massachusetts, the notice of the wedding indicated that they were going to live at 696 Lexington Street, Waltham.^3,2 Homer Sewall died on 3 August 1974 in Waltham, Massachusetts, at the age of 85.^4,5

     Homer Sewall was born on 10 July 1924.¹ He was the son of Homer Sewall and Marjorie Hartwell.¹ Homer Sewall was killed on 9 June 1944 in Normandy, France, at the age of 19.¹ Private 31311877 Homer Sewall Jr. was serving in the U.S. Army, 326th Medical Company, 101st Airborne Division. He is buried in the Normandy American Cemetery, Colleville-sur-Mer, Plot: E Row: 8 Grave: 34. He was awarded the Purple Heart.²

     Horace A. Sewall. A labourer.¹ He was born on 23 November 1835 in Weld, Maine.¹ He was the son of Stinson Sewall and Mary Whitmore.¹ Horace A. Sewall married (unknown) (Unknown).¹ Horace A. Sewall died on 3 February 1871 in Salem, Massachusetts, at the age of 35 of consumption.¹

     Horace Porter Sewall was born in June 1827 in New Hampshire.² He was the son of Samuel Sewall and Betsey Whitney.¹ Horace Porter Sewall married Sarah F. Jackman circa 1859.^1,2

     Howard Sewall was born on 12 November 1860 in Clarke County, Alabama.^2,1 He was the son of Dr. Francis Lewis Sewall and Ann Amelia DuBose.¹ Howard Sewall died on 22 October 1872 at the age of 11.¹

     Howard Sewall was born on 30 December 1838 in Chesterville, Franklin County, Maine.^1,2 He was the son of Otis Crosby Sewall and Abigail Morgridge.¹ "a highly esteemed resident of Livermore Falls, Maine. Lived at Chesterville until 1882; then moved to East Livermore. He was schooled in Chesterville and afterwards became a contractor and a lumberman. He and his wife attended the Universalist Church. He was an Odd Fellow. There is no other man who by individual effort, has done more for the building up of Livermore Falls than Howard Sewall. His boyhood was passed on the ancestral farm of his grandfather, Dummer Sewall, at Chesterville. When a very young man, he, with his brother Eugene, in addition to carrying on the farm, purchased a sawmill and manufactured doors, sashes and blinds, until 1880. Then the Eugene Sewell moved to Livermore Falls. At that time of the population of the village was about 600 but with a foresight that has always actuated the enterprises of the Sewall brothers they felt that the probabilities of the future warranted the establishment there of a life business. They purchased of Deacon Amos Parker 20 acres of pasture land on the southeast outskirts of Livermore Falls and Eugene Sewall built a fine residence there. In 1882, having sold the ancestral Sewall farm at Chesterville Mr Howard Sewall joined his brother Eugene at Livermore Falls and built a handsome home on Pine Avenue. The Sewalls continued their business under the firm name of E. & H. Sewall, carrying a complete stock of mouldings, doors, sash, blinds, and dimensioned lumber of all kinds. This firm was widely known, and noted for the integrity of its dealings, and the business was carried on most successfully until the death of Eugene Sewall in 1906.

These Sewall brothers also turned their attention to the 20 acre tract of land which they had purchased, laying out streets there and making other improvements preparatory to building the extension of the village in that direction which has since been known as a Sewallville, a picturesque hillside now covered with attractive and well kept dwellings. Up to 1906 twenty-four tenement houses, some single and some double, had been erected in Sewallville and the owners had made it a point to keep it one of the highest class neighbourhoods in the town, several of the tenants having occupied their homes for many years. Land was also purchased in the northern part of Livermore Falls Village and three houses were built on Green Street and four on Knapp Street, which, with the family residences, made a total of 34 houses built by the Sewalls. Since the death of his brother Eugene, Mr Howard Sewall has retired from active business and gives his attention to the care of his real estate. He is a man typical of the best old New England stock, shrewd, keen, keen to legitimate business interests but no believer in the modern get-rich-quick wildcat schemes. Genial and quick-witted, he possesses a quaint humour that makes him a most interesting conversationalist and he is brisk and happy. He is an influential member of the Universalist Church, and active in the educational and industrial interests of the community but says that he has never had time to fool with political rings, and it is a one of the best satisfactions of his life that he has never run for office of any kind."³

Howard Sewall married firstly Florilla Fuller, daughter of Edward Fuller and Harriet Oliva Townsend, on 8 November 1863 in Chesterville, Franklin County, Maine.^3,2 Howard Sewall married secondly Carrie Marcia Weston on 6 November 1900 in East Livermore, Maine.^3,4

     Howard Howe Sewall was born on 14 October 1896 in Wilmington, Delaware.^2,3 He was the son of Willis Fuller Sewall and Kate Louise Howe.¹ On his WW1 draft registration card he states that he is a student at the University of Maine.² Howard Howe Sewall died on 5 January 1984 in Charlotte County, Florida, at the age of 87.³

     Howard Newton Sewall was born on 20 March 1888 in York, Maine.^1,3 He was the son of Frank Ernest Sewall and Marietta Muchmore.² Howard Newton Sewall married Addie L. Hathaway, daughter of Hollis M. Hathaway and Emma Park.⁴ On 29 April 1918 he entered military service at at Kennebunk, York County, Maine. Pvt 1st cl Nov. 1/18; Sgt Mar. 21/19. Det 301 Inf to Dec. 1/18; MD Cp Hosp No. 57 to Nov. 25/18; Cp Hosp No. 93 to May 7/19; Cp Hosp No. 122 to disch. Overseas: July 5/18 to Aug. 20/19. Hon disch on demob: Aug. 26, 1919.⁵ Howard Newton Sewall appears on the census of 1920 at York, Maine, together with his wife Addie L. Sewall. His occupation is druggist. They are living with his parents.⁶ He died on 12 October 1961 at the age of 73.⁷ He was buried in First Parish Cemetery of York, Maine.⁷

     Howard P. Sewall was born on 30 January 1921 in Massachusetts.² He was the son of Howard Newton Sewall and Addie L. Hathaway.¹ Howard P. Sewall died on 19 April 1992 in Boston, Massachusetts, at the age of 71.²

     Howard Walten Sewall was born on 24 January 1870 in Maine.¹ He was the son of Rev. Rufus King Sewall and Emma Matilda Barnes.¹ Howard Walten Sewall married firstly Lisetta A. Lubken on 29 May 1893 in Boise, Idaho.¹ Howard Walten Sewall and Lisetta A. Lubken were divorced on 11 December 1909.¹ Howard Walten Sewall married secondly Lola Mable Carter on 29 November 1910 in Spokane, Washington.¹

     Hulda J. Sewall was born in May 1873 in Maine though the 1870 Census indicates a date of about 1867 as does the 1880 Census.^2,3 She was the daughter of Daniel Dana Sewall and Laura A. Folsom.²

     Hull Sewall was born on 9 April 1744 in Brookline, Massachusetts.¹ He was the son of Henry Sewall and Ann White. Hull Sewall graduated in July 1761 from Harvard BA.² He was a "pursued no profession."³ He married firstly Abigail Sparhawk, daughter of Thomas Sparhawk and Mary Oliver, on 20 March 1766 in Cambridge, Massachusetts.⁴ Hull Sewall died on 27 November 1767 at the age of 23 s.n.p.^1,5 He was buried on 29 November 1767 in Brookline, Massachusetts.⁶

     Hull Sewall was born on 8 July 1684 in Boston.¹ He was the son of Chief Justice Samuel E. Sewall and Hannah Hull.¹ Hull Sewall was baptised on 13 July 1684.¹ He died on 18 June 1686 in Newbury at the age of 1 "about one aclock."²

     Ira Sewall was born on 13 May 1818 in Gilford, New Hampshire.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Sewall and Dorothy Bartlett.¹ Ira Sewall died on 8 February 1819 in Gilford.¹

     Irving Eldridge Sewall was born on 30 December 1888 in San Francisco, California.^1,2 He was the son of David Henry Sewall and Josephine Robson.¹ Irving Eldridge Sewall died on 14 June 1896 in San Francisco, California, at the age of 7.^1,3

     Isabella Sewall was born circa 1849 in Illinois.¹ She was the daughter of Caleb Marsh Sewall and Catharine S. Turner.^1,2 Isabella Sewall appears on the census of 1870 at Hamilton, Illinois, where she is a schooteacher.³

     Isabella J. Sewall was born on 5 August 1854.² She was the daughter of William Harmon Sewall and Lydia Jane Moore.² Isabella J. Sewall married Charles Riley.² Isabella J. Sewall died on 11 June 1887 at the age of 32.²

     Isabelle Sewall was born on 20 September 1904.¹ She was the daughter of Henry Middleton Sewall and Avilla J. McKinley.¹

     Jacob Smith Sewall. Counsellor at law.² He was born on 6 October 1817.³ He was the son of General Joseph Sewall and Eliza Smith.¹ Jacob Smith Sewall married Charlotte W. Holmes on 11 May 1841 in Bath, Sagadahoc, Maine.⁴ Jacob Smith Sewall died on 6 October 1857 in Bath, Maine, at the age of 40 after an illness of four days.²

     James Sewall was born on 28 July 1766 in Georgetown, Maine.² He was the son of Henry Sewall and Mary Stinson.¹ James Sewall was christened on 9 September 1766 at Phippsburg, Maine.³ He married firstly Nancy Marsh on 30 January 1795 in Bath, Sagadahoc, Maine.^4,5 James Sewall married Lucy Noyes say 1808.⁶ James Sewall died on 13 February 1839 at the age of 72.⁷ He was buried in Chesterville Center Cemetery, Chesterville, Franklin County, Maine.⁸
