     Sophia Ellen Sexton was born on 11 December 1838.² She was the daughter of John Ponsonby Sexton.¹ Sophia Ellen Sexton married Henry George Sewell, son of Sheriff William Smith Sewell and Mary Isabel Smith, on 17 July 1866 in Montreal.³ Sophia Ellen Sexton died on 4 July 1914 in Santa Monica, California, at the age of 75.¹

      He was a Recorder of Montreal.¹

     Herbert Grant De Quincy Sewell was born on 12 June 1874 in Portland, Maine.³ He was the son of Henry George Sewell and Sophia Ellen Sexton.² Herbert Grant De Quincy Sewell married Sarah Miller Knox, daughter of James Knox and Bessie Fuller, in April 1912 in Tacoma, Washington State.¹ Herbert Grant De Quincy Sewell died on 30 January 1946 in Monterey Park, California, at the age of 71 Died of a heart attack after unsuccessfully seeking medical aid.^2,1

     Amy Geraldine Sewell was born on 2 October 1878 in Maine.³ She was the daughter of Henry George Sewell and Sophia Ellen Sexton.¹ Amy Geraldine Sewell died on 10 October 1954 in Los Angeles, California, at the age of 76 unmarried.⁴

     Letitia Marion Sewell was born on 6 December 1871 in Canada.^3,4 She was the daughter of Henry George Sewell and Sophia Ellen Sexton.¹ Letitia Marion Sewell died on 15 October 1967 in Los Angeles, California, at the age of 95 unmarried.⁵

     John Bonner was born circa 1857 in New York.² He was the son of John Bonner and Mary Georgina Sewell.¹

     Sidney M. Bonner was born circa 1859 in New York.³ He was the son of John Bonner and Mary Georgina Sewell.² Sidney M. Bonner appears on the census of 1880 at Kansas City, Jackson, Missouri, where he is listed as a brickmaker, living with his father, sister Geraldine and brother Arthur.³ He married Maud A. Barnett.² Sidney M. Bonner and Maud A. Barnett appear on the census of 1920 at Chicago, Cook County, Illinois.¹

     George Sewell Bonner was born in August 1861 in New York (his obituary says 2 August 1862).² He was the son of John Bonner and Mary Georgina Sewell.¹ George Sewell Bonner married Agnes Foord, daughter of John Foord, in 1892.² George Sewell Bonner died on 4 October 1902 in Roosevelt Hospital at the age of 41 of pneumonia. Funeral service at the residence of his sister Mrs. Albert B. Boardman, No. 40 West 53rd St. Sunday October 5.¹

George Sewell Bonner was born on Staten Island, New York, August 2, 1862. He studied law at the Columbia College Law School, and in or about 1884 he was admitted to practice in the State of New York. He became a member of the Association of the Bar in 1890. During his course at the law school, and afterwards, he worked in the real estate apartment of the firm of Stewart and Boardman, composed of William A. W. Stewart and Albert B. Boardman. After the dissolution of that firm, he continued for a time with Mr Stewart, and afterwards was in the office of Edward W. Sheldon. In or about the year 1899, he entered the office of Tracy, Boardman & Platt, and some months later was made the attorney in New York of the Fidelity and Deposit Company of Maryland. He died October 4, 1902, in consequence of the injuries received from a fall. His mournful and premature end, before he had obtained middle life, drew the general attention and sympathy of the members of the Bar of the city. A widow and two daughters survive him. The record of Mr Bonner's life is that of a hard-working and quietly successful lawyer, who won held the regard of all that knew him. He had not reached the maturity of his powers when he was stricken down. His steady growth in force and experience had given promise of great attainment in our common profession if life had been spared him. New York Bar Associatin Year Book, 1902, p.99.

     Arthur Bonner was born circa 1868 in New York.² He was the son of John Bonner and Mary Georgina Sewell.¹

     Gertrude Bonner was born circa 1857 in New York though the 1870 Census gives her age as 15.^2,3 She was the daughter of John Bonner and Mary Georgina Sewell.¹ Gertrude Bonner married Albert B. Boardman before 31 December 1877.²

     Geraldine Bonner was born circa 1864 in New York.² She was the daughter of John Bonner and Mary Georgina Sewell.¹

     Thomas Bromhead Butt was the son of Colonel Thomas Bromhead Butt and Geraldine May Sewell.¹ Thomas Bromhead Butt married Alice Bovill, daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir William Bovill and Maria Bolton, in October 1888.²

     Arthur Sewell Butt was the son of Colonel Thomas Bromhead Butt and Geraldine May Sewell.¹

     Beatrice May Butt's birth was registered in the quarter ending June 1853 in the Kensington, London registration district.² She was the daughter of Colonel Thomas Bromhead Butt and Geraldine May Sewell.¹ Beatrice May Butt married William Hutt Allhusen, son of Christian Allhusen, on 26 September 1876 in St. John's Episcopal Church, Edinburgh.³ She was an authoress writing anonymously; the following books have been attributed to her: Miss Molly (anon) [f|1876]; Eugénie (anon) [f|1877]; Delicia (anon) [f|1879]; Geraldine Hawthorne (anon) [f|1882]; Lesterre Durant (anon) [f|1886];     Elizabeth.. (anon) [s|1889];     Keith Deramore (anon) [f|1893]. Beatrice May Butt died on 29 July 1918 at the age of 65 her death is recorded in the Farnham district.²

     Geraldine Butt was the daughter of Colonel Thomas Bromhead Butt and Geraldine May Sewell.¹ The marriage of Geraldine Butt and Colonel John Campbell Robertson-Glasgow was registered in the quarter ending December 1878 in the Kensington, London Registration District.² Geraldine Butt died on 23 September 1920.³ The funeral of Geraldine Butt took place on 28 September 1920 at St. Philip's, Earl's Court Road, London, Internment at Brompton Cemetery.³

     Mary Butt was born circa 1856 in Scotland.² She was the daughter of Colonel Thomas Bromhead Butt and Geraldine May Sewell.¹ Mary Butt married Admiral Sir Day Hort Bosanquet GCMG., GCVO., KCB in 1881.³ Mary Butt was living in 1924.¹

     Gertrude Jane Butt was born circa 1861 in India.² She was the daughter of Colonel Thomas Bromhead Butt and Geraldine May Sewell.¹ Gertrude Jane Butt married Sir Matthew Kendal St. John Franks MD on 23 December 1885 in St. Phillip's, Earl's Court, London, (Duff p. 91 notes she died unmarried).^3,4 Gertrude Jane Butt died in 1924.¹

     Lucy Butt was the daughter of Colonel Thomas Bromhead Butt and Geraldine May Sewell.¹ Lucy Butt was living in 1924. She died unmarried.¹

     Catherine Butt was born circa 1864 in London.² She was the daughter of Colonel Thomas Bromhead Butt and Geraldine May Sewell.¹ Catherine Butt died in 1924 unmarried.¹

     Hugh Duff married Joanna Ross.

     John Lechmere Duff was born in 1874 in Poona, Bombay Presidency, India. He was the son of Surgeon Major John Pope Duff and Alice Sewell.¹ John Lechmere Duff died before June 1922.² He made a will which was published in The Times on 3 June 1922 which describes him as being of Ben Alnulna ?, Scotsburn Road, Tain, Ross-shire, he is also described as being formerly of Hawks Bay, New Zealand. His estate was worth £20,114.0.00.²

     Gwendoline Russell was born in 1877 in Paddington, London. She was the daughter of General Sir Edward Lechmere Graves Russell K.C.S.I. and Alice Sewell.¹ The marriage of Gwendoline Russell and Major William Henry Hardyman was registered in the quarter ending June 1900 in the Bath, Somerset Registration District.² Gwendoline Russell married Rev. Jeffrey Johnstone Ph.D..¹ Gwendoline Russell was living in 1929.³

     Winifred Penelope Russell was born circa 1878 in Bath, Somerset. She was the daughter of General Sir Edward Lechmere Graves Russell K.C.S.I. and Alice Sewell.¹ Winifred Penelope Russell was living in 1924.¹

     John Bonner was born on 9 August 1792 in Monkwearmouth, Durham.³ He was the son of John Bonner and Eleanor Tindall.² John Bonner married Sarah Noyes, daughter of Charles Noyes and Mary (Unknown), on 30 August 1827 in Holy Trinity Anglican Cathedral, Quebec, the ceremony being performed by R.R. Burrage.^3,4 John Bonner died on 21 April 1869 in Staten Island, New York, at the age of 76.⁵ He was buried in Moravian Cemetery, New Dorp, Staten Island.⁵

     Maud Bonner was born on 27 November 1870 in New York City.² She was the daughter of George Thomas Bonner and Isabel Grace Sewell.¹ Maud Bonner married Francis Higginson Cabot, son of Francis Cabot and Mary Louisa Higginson, on 5 April 1893 in Christ Church, Clifton, New York.^3,4 Maud Bonner died on 18 March 1955 in New York at the age of 84 funeral at St. George's Church Chapel, 207 E. 16th Street, New York, N.Y. 21 Mar 1955.¹

     Mabel Bonner was born in November 1871 in New York.² She was the daughter of George Thomas Bonner and Isabel Grace Sewell.¹ Mabel Bonner married (unknown) Stein.¹ Mabel Bonner and George Thomas Bonner appear on the census of 1920.³ Mabel Bonner was living in 1924.¹

     Mary Isabel Bonner was born circa 1878 in New York.³ She was the daughter of George Thomas Bonner and Isabel Grace Sewell.² Mary Isabel Bonner was living in 1924.²

     Florence Sewell was born circa 1876 in New York.² She was the daughter of Arthur Livingston Sewell and Florence Lena Wallack.¹ Florence Sewell married Herbert Raynes.³ Florence Sewell and Herbert Raynes are listed on the census of 1920 at Richmond, New York, they appear to have no children as none are mentioned in the 1910 Census.⁴
