Harold Ingalls Sewall was born on 25 February 1871 in Boston, Massachusetts.³ He was the son of William Bull Sewall and Lena I. Ingalls.¹ Harold Ingalls Sewall graduated in 1893 from Harvard after graduation he went into the real estate business.⁴ He married firstly Virginia Sims Evans, daughter of Rear-Admiral Robley Dunglison Evans and Charlotte Taylor, on 29 April 1903 in Trinity Cathedral, Tsukiji, Tokyo, they were married by Bishop McKim. The reception was held at the British Legation.^5,6 Harold Ingalls Sewall and Virginia Sims Evans were divorced on 15 October 1913 at Ellsworth, Maine; Mrs. Sewall sustained charges of cruel and abusive treatment.⁵ In 1919 he was in Puerto Rico at the time of his brother's death.²

Harold Marsh Sewall. Consul-General to Samoa. He was born on 3 January 1860 in Bath, Sagadahoc County, Maine.² He was the son of Hon. Arthur Sewall and Emma Duncan Crooker.¹ He graduated from Harvard, A.B., 1882, LL.B., 1885; was appointed by President Cleveland in 1885 vice-consul at Liverpool; was promoted consul-general of Samoa, 1887; was attaché of the commission which negotiated the tripartite agreement of Berlin, 1889, and was re-appointed by President Harrison U.S. consul-general at Samoa in 1889. He was admitted to the bar of Maine in 1892; was a delegate to Republican national convention at St. Louis in 1896, and was elected the same year a representative in the Maine legislature. He was appointed U.S. minister to Hawaii in 1897, received transfer of sovereignty of the Islands to the United States in 1898, and was special agent of the United States there until the organization of the territory. He was elected in 1900 the first member from Hawaii of the Republican national committee, and was again elected in 1902 a representative in the Maine legislature; member of the Maine State Senate 1907-09; candidate for U.S. Representative from Maine 2nd District, 1914; member of Republican National Committee from Maine, 1924.³ Harold Marsh Sewall married Camilla Loyall Ashe, daughter of Richard Porter Ashe and Carolina Joyce Loyall, on 14 September 1893 in San Francisco, California.^4,5 Harold Marsh Sewall died on 28 October 1924 in 301 East 19th Street, New York, at the age of 64 after a slight operation.⁶ He was buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, Bath, Maine.

Harold Marsh Sewall was born on 18 April 1928 in York House.² He was the son of Arthur H. Sewall.¹ Harold Marsh Sewall died on 9 April 2000 in New York, New York, at the age of 71 Mr. Sewall was a retired investment banker and commercial real estate agent in New York. He served in the Marine Corps and the Army in Korea. Surviving are three sisters.³
