     Sir Walter Scott Bt. was born on 15 August 1771 in College Wynd, Edinburgh. He was the son of Walter Scott and Anne Rutherford. Sir Walter Scott Bt. married Charlotte Carpenter on 24 December 1797 in St. Mary's Church, Carlisle. Sir Walter Scott Bt. died on 21 September 1832 in Abbotsford at the age of 61.
