     Marietta Muchmore was born on 26 July 1857 in Kittery, Maine.2,1 She was the daughter of George W. Muchmore and Amelia A. Blaney.1 Marietta Muchmore married Frank Ernest Sewall, son of Capt. Joseph Sewall and Eliza Jane Trafton, circa 1879.2 Marietta Muchmore is recorded as Mary E. Sewall in the 1900 Census. She and Frank Ernest Sewall appear on the census of 1910 at York, Maine, he is a farmer.3 Marietta Muchmore appears on the census of 1930 at York, Maine, living with her son Ernest and his wife.4 She died on 7 April 1943 in York Beach at the age of 85. The funeral notice states that she had lived in York for 63 years and that she was a member of the First Parish Church (Congregational), a charter member of the King's Daughters, a member of the Order of Eastern Star and of the American Legion auxiliary.1 She was buried in First Parish Cemetery of York, Maine.5
