     Isabella Puleston was the daughter of Sir Richard Puleston of Emral.¹ Isabella Puleston married Philip Chetwynd of Ingestre, son of Philip Chetwynd of Ingestre and Isabella de Mutton, in 1294.¹ Isabella Puleston died after 1333.²

     Jane Puleston married Sir William Griffith, son of Sir William Griffith The Elder and Joan Troutbeck, in 1520.¹

     Joan de Puleston was the daughter of Roger de Puleston and Joan de Walton.¹ A minor in 1295.¹ In 1296 Salop. Joan daughter of Roger de Pyveleston by her custos appeared against William de Venables, Henry de Cresswall, Roger de la Vile, and John del Brodeoke, in a plea that they had abducted from Pyvelesdon [Puleston] vi et armis Robert the son and heir of Robert de Morton, who was under age, and whose marriage belonged to her. The defendants did not appear, and the Sheriff is ordered to distrain and produce them at the Quindene of Hillary; and as regards the heir, the Sheriff returned he was not within his Bailiwick, but was living in co. Chester in the custody of John de Croye. The Justiciary of Chester is ordered therefore to produce the heir at the same date. m. 43.²

     John Puleston of Emral was the son of Robert Puleston of Emral and Lowri ferch Gruffudd Fychan ap Gruffudd ap Madog Fychan.¹ John Puleston of Emral married Angharad Hanmer, daughter of Griffith Hanmer of Hanmer.¹ John Puleston of Emral died circa 1443 (will proved 7 April 1444).^1,3

     Sir John Puleston of Emral was the son of Richard Puleston and Alice Lewis.¹ Sir John Puleston of Emral. Judge of the Common Pleas.¹ He died in 1659.¹

     John Puleston of Tir Môn. Sheriff of Denbighshire in 1544.² He married Elsbeth Stanley, daughter of Piers Stanley, of Ewlo Castle and Constance Salusbury.³

     (fl. 1354).¹ Jordan Puleston was the son of Jordan de Puleston dominus de Flotesbroke.¹

     (fl. 1316).² Jordan de Puleston dominus de Flotesbroke was the son of Roger FitzJordan de Puleston and Constance (Unknown).¹

     Jordan de Puleston Lord of Flotesbroc was the son of Richard de Puleston and Agnes (Unknown).³ Between 1264 and 1266 it appears that Jordan de Puleston Lord of Flotesbroc took part in the Barons' War under Simon de Montfort and against the King. One Roger de Puleston, possibly Jordan's son was clerk to the Earl.⁴ Shortly after 1266 Flashbrook was sold by Richard de Flotesbroc to Jordan de Puleston.⁵ Thus, sometime between 1266 and 1275 he became lord of Flotesbroc. He stood surety for Richard de Flotesbroke who brought a writ of novel disseisin against William son of William de Rouel of Oldeton respecting common of pasture in Northburi and Oldeton (Oulton), who withdrew his plea at a hearing in the Spring of 1279 he was held in misericordiâ at Staffordshire.⁵
On 28 June 1270 Jordan de Pyvelesdon is granted protection for four years because he is going with the king to the Holy Land this is evidently to take part in Prince Edward's crusade.⁶ In January 1277 Jordan de Pyurlesdon sued Richard son of William de Albaston [Adbaston about two miles N.E. of Flashbrook] for a messuage and three nokes of land in Albaston by open writ of right (per breve de recto patens), and stated that one Ouyel (Howell) his ancestor in the time of King John was seised of it as of fee, and from Ouel the right descended to William his son and heir, and from William, who died without issue, to Henry his brother and heir, and from Henry, who took religious orders, to John his brother and heir, and from John, who died without issue, to one Agnes [no relationship named], and from Agnes to Richard her son and heir, and from Richard, who died without issue, to William his brother and heir, and from William, who died without issue, to Jordan his brother and heir, who now sues. Richard appeared and called to warranty Hamon de Albaston, who came and warranted the tenement to him, and denied the seisin of Ouyel the ancestor, etc. A day is given to the parties at Trinity, when four Knights are to be summoned to elect the jury.⁷ He married Alicia Chetwynd, daughter of Adam de Chetwynd of Cublesdon and Eva de Oswaldestre. There is a record that between 1 August 1306 and 29 September 1306 Thomas de Flashbrook and Roger his brother brought an action to recover £300 due from Jordan de Flashbrook.⁸

     Madog Puleston was the son of Robert Puleston of Emral and Lowri ferch Gruffudd Fychan ap Gruffudd ap Madog Fychan.¹ Nicholas says that Madog was the progenitor of the Pulestons of Havordywern, Bersham, Llwynycnotie and Carnarvon.
The original pedigree in Dwnn erroneously gives Madog's wife as Angharad ferch David ab Llewelyn ab Owen.^1,2

     Margaret Puleston was the daughter of Robert Puleston of Emral and Lowri ferch Gruffudd Fychan ap Gruffudd ap Madog Fychan.¹ Margaret Puleston was living in 1433.¹

     Margaret Puleston was the daughter of Sir Roger Puleston and Jane Hanmer.¹

     Maud Puleston was the daughter of Sir Roger Puleston and Jane Hanmer.¹

     Philip Puleston was the son of Roger Puleston of Emral and Janet Bulkeley.¹ Philip Puleston died s.p.¹

     Richard Puleston was the son of Sir Richard Puleston and Ermin Hanmer.¹ Richard Puleston married Alice Lewis, daughter of David Lewis of Bulcot.¹

     (fl. 1220 temp. Henry III).³ Richard de Puleston was the son of Tyrry de Ellerton (Athelartone).² Richard de Puleston can also be found recorded as Roger de Pylveston.³ He married Agnes (Unknown), daughter of (?) Ouyel (Howell).¹

     Richard de Puleston was born in 1293.¹ He was the son of Jordan de Puleston Lord of Flotesbroc and Alicia Chetwynd.¹ An assize, etc., if Roger son of Jordan de Peulesdon, Richard his brother, and another, had unjustly disseised Thomas the Prior of Raunton of twenty acres of heath in Flosbrok (Flashbrook). The Prior stated that the heath formerly belonged to one Hugh de Flossebrok, who had given it to one of his predecessors to hold in severalty, and that Roger and the other defendants had driven their cattle into it. The jury find in his favour; and Roger afterwards offered 10s. for a jury of twenty-four to convict the last jury: his sureties being Roger de Pyuelesdon and Henry de Verdon; but he afterwards withdrew his writ and was committed to prison. A concord was eventually made, by which Roger son of Jordan admitted the right of the Prior to approve the heath and reduce it to cultivation, saving to him and his heirs common of pasture in it during the open season.²

     Richard Puleston was the son of Richard de Puleston and Agnes (Unknown).¹ In 1284 appointed sheriff of Caernarvon.¹

     Sir Richard Puleston was the son of Sir Richard de Puleston of Emral and Angharad/ Angreta Warren. Sir Richard Puleston married Agnes Wysham, daughter of Sir John Wysham Knt..

     (fl. 1283).³ Sir Richard de Puleston of Emral was the son of Sir Roger de Puleston of Emral and Agnes (or Jane) Le Clerke. Sir Richard de Puleston of Emral. Sheriff of Caernarvonshire.⁴ He married Angharad/ Angreta Warren, daughter of Sir William (or Sir Griffith) Warren Knt.. According to Nicholas there were eight sons and a daughter of this marriage.^2,5 Sir Richard de Puleston of Emral was living in 1316 (9 Edward II).⁴

     Robert Puleston of Emral was born in or about 1358.³ He was the son of Richard Puleston of Emral and Lleuki (Lucy) ferch Madog Voel ap Iefan. Robert Puleston of Emral married Lowri ferch Gruffudd Fychan ap Gruffudd ap Madog Fychan, daughter of Gruffydd Fychan, ap Gruffydd Baron of Glyndyfrdwy, Lord of Cynllaith Owain. Robert Puleston of Emral died in 1399.⁴

     Roger Puleston was the son of Sir Roger Puleston and Jane Hanmer.¹
