Mary Northend was born on 26 July 1740.¹ She was the daughter of Lieut. Samuel Northend and Mary Boynton.¹ Mary Northend married Deacon Joseph Hale on 19 November 1765 in Newbury, Massachusetts.^1,2 Mary Northend died on 8 October 1830 in Newbury, Massachusetts, at the age of 90.²
