     Dr. John Mussey married Beulah Butler.¹

     Brigadier Gen. Reuben Delavan Mussey was the son of Dr. Reuben Dimond Mussey and Hetty Osgood.² He was a a Brigadier General in the civil war, and military secretary to President Johnson and a lawyer in Washington, D.C.¹ Brigadier Gen. Reuben Delavan Mussey married Ellen Spencer, daughter of Platt Rogers Spencer and Persis Duty, on 14 June 1871 in Washington, District of Columbia.¹ Brigadier Gen. Reuben Delavan Mussey died in 1892.¹

     Dr. Reuben Dimond Mussey was born on 23 June 1780 in Pelham, Hillsboro County, New Hampshire.¹ He was the son of Dr. John Mussey and Beulah Butler.¹ He taught school and worked on a farm to obtain money to complete his education. He graduated from Dartmouth, A.B., 1803, A.M., 1806, M.D., 1806, and practised in Essex, 1806-09, meanwhile attending a course of lectures in the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated M.D., 1809. He removed to Salem, Massachusetts., where he practised medicine and surgery with Dr. Daniel Oliver, 1809-14. He was professor of theory and practice of medicine at Dartmouth, 1814-20, and professor of anatomy and surgery, 1822-38, meanwhile engaging in general practice in Hanover and lecturing occasionally on materia medica and obstetrics. In 1818 he delivered a course of lectures on chemistry at Middlebury college, Vermont, and also lectured on anatomy and surgery at Bowdoin college, 1833-35, and at the medical college at Fairfield, New York. He was professor of surgery at the Ohio Medical college, 1838-53, and at Miami Medical college, 1852-58. He resided in Boston, 1858-66. He was the first to prove that intra-capsular fractures could be united; the first to tie both carotid arteries, and in 1877 removed the entire shoulder-blade and collar-bone of an osteo-sarcoma patient. He was president of the New Hampshire Medical Society; a fellow of Philadelphia Medical College, honorary member of the Massachusetts Medical Society, and of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Dr. Mussey received the honorary degree of A.M. from Harvard in 1809, and that of LL.D. from Dartmouth in 1854. He is the author of Health: Its Friends and Foes (1862).² The marriage intentions of Dr. Reuben Dimond Mussey and Mary Sayward Sewall, daughter of Thomas Sewall and Priscilla Coney, were published on 1 August 1806 in Chabacco parish, Ipswich, Massachusetts.³ Dr. Reuben Dimond Mussey married Hetty Osgood, daughter of Dr. John Osgood.² Dr. Reuben Dimond Mussey died on 21 June 1866 in Boston, Massachusetts, at the age of 85.¹

     Spencer Mussey was the son of Brigadier Gen. Reuben Delavan Mussey and Ellen Spencer.¹

     William H. Mussey was the son of Brigadier Gen. Reuben Delavan Mussey and Ellen Spencer.¹

     William Heberden Mussey MD was born on 30 September 1818 in Hanover, New Hampshire. He was the son of Dr. Reuben Dimond Mussey and Hetty Osgood.² He became an eminent surgeon in Cincinnati, Ohio, was professor of operative and chemical surgery at Miami Medical college, 1865-82; surgeon-general of Ohio; manager of the public library of Cincinnati, 1876-81, and founder of the Mussey scientific and medical library there, a memorial to his father.² William Heberden Mussey MD married Caroline Webster Lindsly, daughter of Harvey Lindsly M.D. and Emeline Cony Webster.³ William Heberden Mussey MD died on 1 August 1882 in Cincinnati, Ohio, at the age of 63.

     William Lindsly Mussey was born on 15 October 1861.¹ He was the son of William Heberden Mussey MD and Caroline Webster Lindsly.¹ William Lindsly Mussey died on 8 September 1898 at the age of 36.¹

     Charity Mustard was born on 18 February 1775 in Topsham, Maine.¹ She was the daughter of Capt. James Mustard and Charity Reed.¹ Charity Mustard married Samuel White, son of Robert White and Susannah Sewall, on 18 November 1794 in Topsham, Maine.¹ Charity Mustard died on 16 October 1821 in Topsham, Maine, at the age of 46.¹

     Adam de Mutton was born say 1184.² He was the son of Ralph de Mutton.¹ Adam de Mutton died before 1241.³

     Isabella de Mutton was born say 1240 she was in possession of her patrimony in 1257.⁴ She was the daughter of Ralph de Mutton II and Agnes (Unknown).^2,3 Isabella de Mutton married Philip Chetwynd of Ingestre, son of Sir John Chetwynd.² Isabella de Mutton married secondly Roger Thorenton circa 1286.⁵ Isabella de Mutton died on 4 February 1291.⁵

      He held two thirds of a knight's fee of Robert fitz Ralph being Mitton in Penkridge, Rudge in Standon and Apeton in Bradley.² Ivo or Eudes de Mutton married Aline de Ingestre, daughter of Hugh de Ingestre.¹ Ivo or Eudes de Mutton died before 1185 probably in the Monastry of St. Thomas, Stafford.¹

     Ralph de Mutton was born say 1154.³ He was the son of Ivo or Eudes de Mutton and Aline de Ingestre.² Circa 1217 Ralph de Mutton grants to John, son of Nicolas de Mutton, all the land in Salt, which his father Nicolas had held by the service of one fourth of a Knight's fee. This deed, by the witnesses, is of the reign of John, or early in H. 3., and in a suit on the Stafford Assize Eoll of 56 H. 3., Eudo de Salt states he is son of John de Mutton.¹ Ralph de Mutton died after 1228 when he was a Knight of Great Assize, on the Staffordshire Assize Roll of 12 H. III.⁴

     Ralph de Mutton was the son of Ralph de Mutton II and Agnes (Unknown).¹ Ralph de Mutton died in 1241.¹

      Isabella was the daughter of Ralph de Mutton, as appears from the Plea Roll of 35 H. 3, 1250 and from a final concord of 20 January 1251. In the Cheywynd MS. she is called daughter of Adam and sister and heir of Ralph.^3,1 Ralph de Mutton II was born say 1221.⁴ He was the son of Adam de Mutton.² Ralph de Mutton II married Agnes (Unknown).⁵ Ralph de Mutton II died in 1242.⁵

     Aimé Michel Myassard was born on 8 April 1906 in Geneva, Switzerland. He died circa 1992.

     Maria Myddleton married Hon. Frederick West, son of John West, 2nd Earl De La Warr and Mary Wynard, in 1798. Maria Myddleton died in 1843.

     Aaron Mynderse married Anna Maria Vedder.¹

     Dr. Barent A. Mynderse was born on 15 June 1829.¹ He was the son of Aaron Mynderse and Anna Maria Vedder.¹ Dr. Barent A. Mynderse married Albertina Sanders Ten Broeck, daughter of Major-General Leonard William Ten Broeck and Helen Livingston, on 29 May 1860.¹ Dr. Barent A. Mynderse died on 2 October 1887 at the age of 58.¹

     Margery Mytton (alias Harpsfield) married Thomas Huntbach of Seawall, son of Thomas Huntbach of Sheriffe-hales.¹ Margery Mytton (alias Harpsfield) died in 1609.²

     Sir Richard de Mytton married Margaret de Peshall, daughter of Sir Adam de Peshall and Joyce de Botetourt, b. Easter 1406.¹ Sir Richard de Mytton died on 10 November 1418.¹

     William Mytton. Lord of Weston; Sheriff of Staffordshire 1443, 1458 and 1463; M.P. for Staffordshire 1446-47.¹ He was born on 28 December 1415.¹ He was the son of Sir Richard de Mytton and Margaret de Peshall.¹ William Mytton was living in 1489.¹

     Albert Comte de Namur was the son of Robert Comte de Namur.¹ Albert Comte de Namur married Ermengarde of Lower Lotharingia, daughter of Charles Duke of Lower Lotharingia and Adelais de Troyes.¹ Albert Comte de Namur died before 1011.¹

     Albert II Comte de Namur was the son of Albert Comte de Namur and Ermengarde of Lower Lotharingia.¹ Albert II Comte de Namur married Regilindis of Lower Lotharingia, daughter of Gozelon Duke of Lower Lotharingia.¹ Albert II Comte de Namur died between 1063 and 1065.¹

     Albert III Comte de Namur was born before 10 August 1035.¹ He was the son of Albert II Comte de Namur and Regilindis of Lower Lotharingia.¹ Albert III Comte de Namur married Ida von Sachsen.¹ Albert III Comte de Namur died on 22 June 1102.¹

     Elizabeth de Namur was the daughter of Godefroi Comte de Namur and Sibylle de Porcien.² Elizabeth de Namur married firstly Gervase Comte de Rethel, son of Hugues Comte de Rethel and Mélisende de Montlhéry.¹ Elizabeth de Namur married secondly Clarembaud de Rosoy before 1131.¹

     Flandrine de Namur was the daughter of Godefroi Comte de Namur and Sibylle de Porcien.¹

     Godefroi Comte de Namur was the son of Albert III Comte de Namur and Ida von Sachsen.¹ Godefroi Comte de Namur married Sibylle de Porcien, daughter of Roger Comte de Château-Porcien and Ermengarde (Unknown), in 1087.¹ Godefroi Comte de Namur divorced Sibylle de Porcien in 1104 on the grounds of her adultery with Enguerand de Boves Sire de Coucy which resulted in her fleeing her husband before giving birth to an illegitimate child.¹ Godefroi Comte de Namur died on 19 August 1139.¹

      Robert succeeded Berengar (say 875/85 - before 946) as Comte de Namur, whether he was a direct descendant is questionable, some sources show him as a son of Berengar.¹

     Augustus Nanton married Louisa Jarvis, daughter of William Botsford Jarvis and Mary Boyles Powell.¹
