     Richard Montgomery Livingston was born on 7 June 1787.¹ He was the son of James Livingston and Elizabeth Simpson.¹ Richard Montgomery Livingston died on 4 March 1838 in Schuylerville, New York, at the age of 50.¹

     Robert Livingston. The first proprietor of Clermont.² He was born on 24 July 1688.³ He was the son of Hon. Robert Livingston, "First Lord of the Manor" and Alida Schuyler.¹ Robert Livingston married Margaret Howarden on 11 November 1717.³ Robert Livingston died on 27 June 1775 at the age of 86.²

     Robert Livingston was the son of Judge Edward Chinn Livingston and Martha Nelson.¹

     Hon. Robert Livingston, "First Lord of the Manor" is also recorded as "Robert the Grantee".⁴ He was born on 13 December 1654 in Ancrum, Roxburgshire, the fourteenth child of the marriage.¹ He was the son of Rev. John Livingston of Ancrum and Janet Fleming.^1,3 Robert accompanied his father in his flight to Rotterdam, and emmigrated to America in 1673, and after spending part of a year in Charlestown, Massachusetts Bay Colony, moved to Albany, New York, where he was secretary of the commissaries who superintended the affairs of Albany, Schenectady, and the parts adjacent, 1675-86.

In 1686 he received from Governor Thomas Dougan a grant of land comprising large parts of what was subsequently set off as Dutchess county, and the grant was confirmed by royal charter from George I., who erected the manor and lordship of Livingston. Robert Livingston was appointed to proceed to New York with his brother-in-law, Peter Schuyler, to obtain a charter for the manor from Governor Dougan, under which charter he was town clerk, 1686-1721. In 1689 he attached himself to the anti-Leisler faction. He was secretary of the convention held at Albany, Oct. 25, 1689, which, while it acknowledged the sovereignty of William and Mary, opposed Leisler's proceedings. When Richard Petty, sheriff of Albany, reported to Leisler that Livingston favored the Prince of Orange, Leisler ordered Livingston's arrest, and the latter retired to one of the neighboring provinces until the arrival of Sloughter, in March, 1691. In 1694 he made a voyage to England, was shipwrecked on the coast of Portugal, and obliged to travel through Spain and France overland. He returned to New York in 1696, accompanied by his nephew, Robert Livingston. While in England he was appointed by royal commission, dated Jan. 27, 1695-96, Commissioner of Excise, Receiver of Quit Rents, Town Clerk, Clerk of the Peace, Clerk of the Common Pleas for the City and County of Albany, and Secretary for the Government of the Indians in New York. He obtained for Robert Kidd a commission to rid the American seas of buccaneers; but Kidd himself turned pirate and the expedition failed. In September, 1696, the charge of alienation was preferred against him by the council, but through the influence of Lord Bellomont, who arrived in April, 1698, to take charge of the government, he was appointed one of the council, September, 1698, and in the autumn of 1700, was reinstated in all his offices. He was accused by the Leislerian commission of appropriating the public money for his own use, and of employing improper influences to induce the Indians to favour his going to England on behalf of their interests at the court. He refused to exonerate himself of the charge by oath and on April 27, 1701, his estates were confiscated and he was suspended from the council board. Through the intercession of Lord Cornbury he was vindicated. On Feb. 2, 1703, he regained his estates, and in September, 1705, he was reinstated in his former offices. He was elected a member of the assembly from Albany in 1711, and from his manor, 1716-25, serving as Speaker 1718-25, when he retired on account of ill-health.⁵ Hon. Robert Livingston, "First Lord of the Manor" married Alida Schuyler, daughter of Philipse Pieterse van Schuyler and Margarita Van Slechtenhorst, on 9 July 1679 in the Presbyterian Church, Albany, New York.^1,6 Hon. Robert Livingston, "First Lord of the Manor" died on 20 April 1725 in The Manor, Albany, New York, at the age of 70 (or 1 October 1728, at Boston according to Duff p. 117; and according to NYSM)).^5,3 He was buried on 21 April 1725 in the Dutch Church, Albany, New York.⁷

     Robert Livingston, "The Nephew" was born in 1663 in Rotterdam, Holland.^1,3 He was the son of James Livingston and (unknown) (Unknown).^1,2 Robert Livingston, "The Nephew" emigrated in 1687 to America, at the invitation of his uncle, Robert Livingston.^4,2 He married Margarita Schuyler, daughter of Colonel Pieter Schuyler and Engeltie (Angelica) Van Schaick, on 26 August 1697. He was appointed deputy town clerk in 1699 and held this office under his uncle until May 6, 1707. In that year he was alderman of Albany and was appointed mayor of that city in 1710, by Governor Hunter, and held the office for nine years. He also sat in the House of Assembly, 1711 to 1715; he was one of the Commissioners for Indian Affairs.² Robert Livingston, "The Nephew" died on 21 April 1725 in New York.^1,4,3

     Robert Livingston, Jr. "Third Lord of the Manor" was born on 16 December 1708. He was the son of Philip Livingston, "Second Lord of the Manor" and Catharine Van Brugh. Robert Livingston, Jr. "Third Lord of the Manor" married firstly Maria Thong, daughter of Walter Thong and Sara van Dam, on 20 May 1731.¹ Robert Livingston, Jr. "Third Lord of the Manor" married Gertrude Van Rensselaer, daughter of Kiliaen Van Rensselaer and Maria van Cortlandt, in 1766.² Robert Livingston, Jr. "Third Lord of the Manor" died on 27 November 1790 at the age of 81.³

     Robert Cambridge Livingston was born on 26 December 1742.² He was the son of Robert Livingston, Jr. "Third Lord of the Manor" and Maria Thong.¹ Robert Cambridge Livingston married Alice Swift, daughter of John Swift, on 22 November 1778.² Robert Cambridge Livingston died on 23 August 1794 at the age of 51.²

     Robert Clermont Livingston was born on 10 June 1802.¹ He was the son of Lt. Colonel Edward Philip Livingston and Elizabeth Stevens Livingston.¹ Robert Clermont Livingston died in July 1802.¹

     Robert Edward Livingston was born on 25 May 1820.² He was the son of Lt. Colonel Edward Philip Livingston and Elizabeth Stevens Livingston.¹ Robert Edward Livingston married Susan Maria Clarkson de Peyster, daughter of Capt. James Ferguson de Peyster and Susan Maria Clarkson, on 19 December 1854.² Robert Edward Livingston died on 20 January 1889 at the age of 68.²

     Robert Gilbert Livingston was born on 11 January 1713.¹ He was the son of Gilbert Livingston and Cornelia Beekman.¹ Robert Gilbert Livingston married Catherine McPhaedres, daughter of John McPhaedres and Helena Jansen, on 3 November 1740.¹ Robert Gilbert Livingston died on 28 August 1789 at the age of 76 and was buried n the Dutch Burying Yard.²

He was called to the Bar, 1773; Member of the Provincial Assembly, 1775; Chancellor of New York, 1777-1801; Minister to France, 1801-1805.² He is also recorded as "The Chancellor". He was born on 27 November 1746 in New York.² He was the son of Judge Robert Robert Livingston and Margaret Beekman.¹ Robert R. Livingston married Mary Stevens, daughter of John Stevens, on 9 September 1770.³ Robert R. Livingston died on 26 February 1813 in Clermont at the age of 66.⁴

     Robert Reginald Livingston was born on 8 February 1858 (or 8 November).¹ He was the son of Robert Edward Livingston and Susan Maria Clarkson de Peyster.¹ Robert Reginald Livingston married Mary Tailer, daughter of Edward N. Tailer, on 15 April 1884.² Robert Reginald Livingston died on 16 April 1899 at the age of 41.¹

John Henry Livingston, son of Henry Livingston and Susan Conklin, on 26 November 1775 at Kingston, Ulster County, New York.^2,4,3 Sarah Livingston died on 29 December 1814 in New Brunswick, New Jersey, at the age of 62.^2,3

     Sarah Livingston was born in October 1725.² She was the daughter of Philip Livingston, "Second Lord of the Manor" and Catharine Van Brugh.¹ Sarah Livingston was baptised on 7 November 1725.³ She married Major William Alexander, son of James Alexander, on 1 March 1748 there were two daughters of the marriage.^1,3 Sarah Livingston died in March 1805 at the age of 79 (1804 BDNA).^1,3
