Noyes be appointed as Ellen's guardian because of her dementia.5 Lovina Ellen Marion Dunham appears on the census of 1900 at Brockton, Massachusetts, living with her son-in-law, Nathan Hayward and family.6 She died in 19027 and is buried in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton, Massachusetts, the memorial inscription includes her husband who died in North Carolina.7
