      Drug ckerk of Presque Isle.² Wilmot Edwards Dow was born on 12 August 1886.¹ He was the son of Wilmont Sewall Dow and Elizabeth Ann Edwards.¹ Wilmot Edwards Dow married Katherine M. Stevens on 14 June 1911.²

     Patience Downes married Samuel Wentworth.¹

     Anne Downing was baptised on 12 April 1633 at St. Brides, Fleet Street, London.² She was the daughter of Emanuel Downing and Lucy Winthrop.^1,2 Anne Downing married firstly Capt. Joseph Gardner, son of Thomas Gardner and Margaret (Unknown), before August 1656.^1,3 Anne Downing married secondly Governor Simon Bradstreet, son of Rev. Simon Bradstreet and Margaret (Unknown), on 6 June 1676 at Salem, Massachusetts.^1,4 Anne Downing died on 19 April 1713 in Salem at the age of 80.¹

     Emanuel Downing was born in 1585.² He married Anne Ware on 7 June 1614 in England.² Emanuel Downing married secondly Lucy Winthrop on 10 April 1622 at England.^3,2 Emanuel Downing died in 1656.²

     Sir George Downing was born in London.¹ He was the son of Emanuel Downing. Sir George Downing graduated in 1642 from Harvard.¹

     John Downing married Hannah Shepard, daughter of Rev. Jeremiah Shepard and Mary Wainwright.¹ John Downing was born on 20 November 1667 in Lynn.¹ He died in 1683.¹

     Lucy Downing married William Norton circa 1649 in Ipswich.^1,2 Lucy Downing died in 1698.²

     Thomasine Dowsett married Thomas Hale on 11 December 1632 in St. Helen's Bishopsgate, London.¹ Thomasine Dowsett died on 30 January 1682/83 in Newbury, Massachusetts.¹

     James St. Clair Doyle. Capt. 53d (Shropshire) Regiment. He married firstly Bridget Ellen (Unknown).² James St. Clair Doyle married secondly Ann (Unknown).³ James St. Clair Doyle was born circa 1810.⁴ He was the son of Lt. General William Doyle and Mary Smith.¹ James St. Clair Doyle died on 15 July 1888 in 49 Cobham Street, Gravesend, Kent.^4,5

     Susan Prescott Doyle was born on 3 May 1801 in Quebec and privately baptised the same day.¹ She was the daughter of Lt. General William Doyle and Mary Smith.² Susan Prescott Doyle married Edmund Hobson on 29 June 1822 in Dublin.³

      Of Waterford, Ireland.¹ This officer was appointed Ensign in the 24th foot in July, 1774, and in March, 1776, he embarked for Canada; he served the campaign of that and the following year with the advanced corps of the army. In October, 1776, he was promoted to a Lieutenancy; he was present in every principal action in which the northern army was engaged, and was wounded at nearly the close of the campaign, 1777, which terminated in the convention of Saratoga. This officer was detained prisoner till exchanged in 1781, and then returned to England. In July, 1787, he succeeded to a company, and in 1789 again embarked with his regiment for Canada. In May, 1795, he received the brevet of Major, and the 27th of July, 1797, was appointed Deputy Adjutant-General in Canada, and Lieutenant-Colonel in the army. He remained in Canada until promoted, in July, 1803, to a Majority in the 9th battalion of reserve, and shortly after joining that battalion, was appointed an Assistant-Adjutant-General on the Irish Establishment. The 16th of August, 1804, he received the Lieutenant-Colonelcy of the 62nd; the 30th of October, 1805, the rank of Colonel; and the 4th of June, 1811, Major-General. He served on the Staff in Ireland as Major General; and the 12th of August, 1819, received the brevet of Lieutenant-General. Philippart: The Royal military calendar, p. 310.
Lt. General William Doyle married Mary Smith, daughter of Chief Justice Hon. William Smith and Jennet Livingston, on 27 March 1799 in St. Andrew's Church, Quebec.² Lt. General William Doyle died on 12 June 1823 in Waterford.³

     William Smith Sewell Doyle was born on 17 November 1803 in Quebec.² He was the son of Lt. General William Doyle and Mary Smith.¹ William Smith Sewell Doyle was baptised on 23 December 1803 at Holy Trinity Church, Quebec.² On 20 February 1824 he was promoted from ensign to Lieutenant by purchase in the 63rd of Foot. In April 1826 promoted Captain by purchase, (unattached). On 27th December 1833 he exchanges with Captain Hill of 28th Foot. In 1845 he was returned as High Sheriff for Waterford City.^3,4,5 He died before 1869.

     Dr. Dean Drake was born in 1872.¹ He married Bertha Estabrook, daughter of Leonard A. Estabrook and Antoinette G. Stearns.¹ Dr. Dean Drake died in 1930.¹

     Jane Draycott was the daughter of Sir Roger Draycott and Agnes/Joan Aston. Jane Draycott married Thomas Noel.¹

      Of Paynsley, Staffordshire. Sir Roger Draycott married Agnes/Joan Aston, daughter of Sir Roger Aston and Joyce Freville.¹

     Eleanor Drean was born circa 1812 in Ontario, Canada.² She was the daughter of Henry Drean. Eleanor Drean married John Powell, son of John Powell and Isabella Shaw, on 1 July 1830.

     Henry Drean died before July 1830.

     Daniel Dresser married Abigail Poore, daughter of John/3 Poore and Ann Longfellow.¹ Daniel Dresser died circa October 1769.¹

     Elizabeth A. Dresser was born in October 1829 in Maine.¹ She married Joseph H. Sewall, son of John Sewall and Cynthia A. Fickett, on 31 July 1855 in Bangor, Penobscot, Maine, however the marriage notice in the newspaper gives 1 August 1855.^2,3

     Mary Schuyler Dresser was born in 1847.¹ She married John Chase Small, son of Richard Small and Abigail Ann Jose, in 1869.¹

     Anna Drew married Samuel White.¹

     Elizabeth Drew married Richard Wiburd.¹

     Francis Drew married Anne Wingate on 3 June 1713 in Dover, New Hampshire. Francis Drew died on 10 May 1717.

     Joseph Drew was born on 8 April 1717.¹ He was the son of Francis Drew and Anne Wingate.¹

     Perez Drew married Zilpah Wadsworth, son of Deacon Peleg Wadsworth and Lusanna Sampson, on 6 February 1772.

     Vera Evelyn Dreyfus married Gerald George Gabbett, son of Lt. Colonel Pulteney Charles Gabbett and Kate May Gask, in 1938.¹ Vera Evelyn Dreyfus died on 27 February 1986, she was living in Colchester, Essex.²

     Lizzie Drinkwater was born circa 1849 in Maine.¹ She married Dr. Charles A. Norton, son of Asa H. Norton and Nancy Quincy, on 31 July 1864 in Bangor, Maine.²

     Annabella Drummond was born circa 1350.¹ She was the daughter of Sir John Drummond of Stobhall and Mary Montifex.² Annabella Drummond married Robert Stewart, Robert III, King of Scotland, son of Robert Stewart, Robert II, King of Scotland and Elizabeth Mure, Countess of Strathearn, circa 1366.¹ She was crowned Queen Consort on 15 August, 1390, at Scone Abbey.² Annabella Drummond died circa October 1401 in Scone Palace, Perthshire.¹

     Eva Ellen Drummond was born on 21 October 1862.² She was the daughter of Major-General Henry Drummond R.E. and Annette Macpherson Boisragon.^1,2 Eva Ellen Drummond married Gordon Stewart Beatson, son of Maj. Gen. Roger Stewart Beatson R.E. and Charlotte Frederica Zébée Gordon, on 25 February 1888 in Dacca, India.¹
