William's death was registered in 1966 in the Nowra, New South Wales registration district.¹

     Andrew Dunning was born circa 1664.¹ He died on 18 January 1736/37 in Brunswick.¹

     Deacon Andrew Dunning was born on 11 July 1727 in York, Maine.³ He was the son of William Dunning and Deborah Donnell.³ Deacon Andrew Dunning married Hannah Shepherd, daughter of Mark Shepherd and Hannah Hilton, on 9 May 1751 in York.¹ Deacon Andrew Dunning died on 27 March 1808 at the age of 80.⁴

     Jenny Dunning is also recorded as Jane Dunning.² She was born on 9 March 1763 in Harpswell, Maine, but recorded as 19 March in Chesterville Vital Records.^3,2 She was the daughter of Deacon Andrew Dunning and Hannah Shepherd.² Jenny Dunning married Dummer Sewall, son of Colonel Dummer Sewall and Mary Dunning, on 24 October 1782 in Harpswell, Maine.^3,2 Jenny Dunning appears on the census of 1850 at Chesterville, Franklin County, Maine, with her is a Jane Sewall aged 51. They living next door to Otis C. Sewall and his family.⁴ She died on 26 May 1852 in Harpswell, Maine, at the age of 89.^3,2 She was buried in Chesterville Center Cemetery, Chesterville, Franklin County, Maine.⁵

     Mary Dunning was born on 4 April 1739 in York, Maine.^3,4 She was the daughter of William Dunning and Deborah Donnell.^1,2 Mary Dunning married Colonel Dummer Sewall, son of Capt. Samuel Sewall and Sarah Batchelder, on 18 December 1760 in York, Maine, conducted by the Rev. Mr. Isaac Lyman. The Vital records, 1779-1903 Bath, give a date of 16 December at Bath.⁵ Mary Dunning died on 10 July 1823 in Bath, Maine, at the age of 84 (gravestone). (Sinnett gives a date of 10 September, 1823). Mary Dunning is said to have been "the prettiest girl of Old York, Maine, she was a woman of truly a sterling character, very patriotic,and beloved by all."^2,4

     William Dunning. Farmer and cordwainer.³ He was born circa 1700.³ He was the son of Andrew Dunning.² William Dunning married Deborah Donnell, daughter of Benjamin Donnell and Mary Harmon, on 26 November 1724 in York, Maine.³ William Dunning died on 13 June 1783 in York, Maine.³

     Hon. John William Dunscomb was born on 23 February 1809 in St. John's Hill, Bermuda.¹ He married Caroline Birch Durnford, daughter of Major General Elias Walker Durnford R.E. and Jane Sophia Mann, on 26 April 1840 in St George's, Hanover Square, London.¹ Hon. John William Dunscomb died on 16 December 1891 in Quebec at the age of 82.¹

     Mary Dunster married Amos Marrett.¹

     Gara E. Dunton was born circa 1902 in Maine.² She was the daughter of Lewis A. Dunton.² Gara E. Dunton married Joseph Thompson Sewall, son of Mark Warren Sewall and Rachel F. Thompson, on 24 July 1926 in Boothbay Harbor, Maine.^1,3 Gara E. Dunton died on 12 January 1992 in Boothbay Harbor, Maine.⁴

     James E. Durand. Banker.¹ He was born circa 1869 in Berlin.¹ He was the son of Charles Durand.¹ James E. Durand married Madeline Follett Fraser, daughter of Alexander Fraser and Mary Mead Torrance, on 28 September 1895 in Cobourg.^1,2

     (second son) Durant was the son of John Durant of Littlebourne and Joan (Johane) (Unknown).¹ (second son) Durant died before 1548.¹

     Amy Durant was the daughter of John Durant of Littlebourne and Joan (Johane) (Unknown).^2,3 Amy Durant married Thomas Gookin of Bekesbourne, son of Arnold Gookin of Ickham, Kent, circa 1538.² Amy Durant died in February 1581 in Bekesbourne, Kent.⁴ She was buried on 15 February 1581 in Bekesbourne, Kent.³

     Elizabeth Durant was the daughter of (second son) Durant.¹ Elizabeth Durant was unmarried in 1561.¹

     John Durant of Howletts was the son of John Durant of Littlebourne and Joan (Johane) (Unknown).^1,2

     John Durant of Littlebourne married Joan (Johane) (Unknown).² John Durant of Littlebourne died before 1548.¹ He was buried in Littlebourne, Kent.²

     Alexander Tilloch Galt Durnford. Architect.² He was born on 25 July 1898 in Beaconsfield, Quebec.² He was the son of Augustus Decimus Durnford and Mary Oneida Galt.¹ Alexander Tilloch Galt Durnford married Marjorie Chaworth-Musters Currie on 15 June 1932 in Montreal, Quebec.² Alexander Tilloch Galt Durnford died on 22 August 1973 in Montreal, Quebec, at the age of 75.² Famous Canadian Architect. A.T. Gault Durnford was born in Montreal in1898 and obtained his Bachelor's degree in architecture from McGill University in 1922. He was connected with two architecture firms in New York City, but practised in Montreal from 1924 onwards. Durnford served in WWII as a Lieut.-Commander (S.B.) R.C.N.V.R.²

     Anne Durnford was born on 23 October 1823 in Quebec.² She was baptised on 24 October 1823 at Quebec privately.² She was the daughter of Major General Elias Walker Durnford R.E. and Jane Sophia Mann.¹ Anne Durnford died on 12 December 1825 in Quebec at the age of 2.³ She was buried on 14 December 1825 in Quebec.³

     Arthur William Currie Durnford was the son of Alexander Tilloch Galt Durnford and Marjorie Chaworth-Musters Currie.¹ Arthur William Currie Durnford died before 2009.²

     Augusta Durnford was born on 9 May 1842 in Kingston, Ontario.¹ She was the daughter of Major Philip Durnford and Augusta Sewell.¹ Augusta Durnford died on 14 March 1846 in Montreal, Quebec, at the age of 3 of scarlet fever.¹

     Augusta Mary Durnford was born on 12 May 1866 in Montreal, Province of Quebec.² She was the daughter of George Durnford and Melanie Vardon.² Augusta Mary Durnford married Donald Ross-Ross on 16 June 1886 in Montreal.³ Augusta Mary Durnford died on 9 December 1953 at the age of 87.² She was buried in St. Andrews Church, Lancaster, Ontario.²

     Augustus Decimus Durnford. Superintendent of Branches and Chief Inspector Molson's Bank, Montreal. He was born on 11 January 1849 in Montreal, Quebec.² He was the son of Major Philip Durnford and Augusta Sewell.¹ Augustus Decimus Durnford married Mary Oneida Galt, daughter of Sir Alexander Tilloch Galt GCMG and Amy Gordon Torrance, on 6 February 1896 in St. Georges Church, Montreal, conducted by the Bishop of Montreal and Dean Carmichael. The best man was A.D. Nichols. Bridesmaids were: Ms. Muriel Galt (sister), Ms. Annie Galt (sister). Ushers: Alex Galt, Henry Mosley of New York, Spencer Ramsey.¹ Augustus Decimus Durnford died on 30 June 1912 in Cacouna, Quebec, at the age of 63.¹

     Caroline Birch Durnford was born on 10 December 1817 in Quebec.¹ She was the daughter of Major General Elias Walker Durnford R.E. and Jane Sophia Mann.¹ Caroline Birch Durnford was baptised on 17 January 1818 at Quebec.² She married Hon. John William Dunscomb on 26 April 1840 in St George's, Hanover Square, London.¹ Caroline Birch Durnford died on 1 January 1892 in Quebec at the age of 74.¹

     Charles Durnford was born in August 1811 in St. John's, Newfoundland.¹ He was the son of Major General Elias Walker Durnford R.E. and Jane Sophia Mann.¹ Charles Durnford died on 5 January 1832 in Portsmouth, Hampshire, at the age of 20.¹
