     Hannah Cogswell was born circa 1624 in England.¹ She was the daughter of John Cogswell and Elizabeth Thompson.² Hannah Cogswell married Deacon Cornelius Waldo before 2 January 1651/52 in Ipswich.³ Hannah Cogswell died on 25 December 1704 in Chelmsford, Massachusetts.¹

     Samuel Bliss was born circa 1624 in England.¹ He was the son of Thomas Bliss and Margaret Hulins.² Samuel Bliss married Mary Leonard, daughter of John Leonard and Sarah Heath, on 10 November 1665 in Springfield, Massachusetts.¹ Samuel Bliss died on 23 March 1720 in Springfield, Massachusetts.¹

     Mary Leonard was born on 14 September 1647.¹ She was the daughter of John Leonard and Sarah Heath.² Mary Leonard married Samuel Bliss, son of Thomas Bliss and Margaret Hulins, on 10 November 1665 in Springfield, Massachusetts.¹ Mary Leonard died on 21 March 1724 at the age of 76.¹

     Thomas Caldwell married Elizabeth Stebbing, daughter of Edward Stebbing and Frances Tough.¹ Thomas Caldwell died on 9 October 1694 in Hartford, Connecticut.¹

     Elizabeth Stebbing was the daughter of Edward Stebbing and Frances Tough.² Elizabeth Stebbing married Thomas Caldwell.¹ Elizabeth Stebbing died on 19 August 1668.¹

     Joseph Walker was born in July 1646 in Boston, Massachusetts.¹ He was the son of Robert Walker and Sarah (Unknown).² Joseph Walker married Abigail Prudden, daughter of Rev. Peter Prudden and Joanna Boyse, on 14 November 1667.¹ Joseph Walker died in 1687 in Stratford, Connecticut.¹

     Abigail Prudden was baptised on 13 February 1647/48 at Milford, Connecticut.¹ She was the daughter of Rev. Peter Prudden and Joanna Boyse.² Abigail Prudden married Joseph Walker, son of Robert Walker and Sarah (Unknown), on 14 November 1667.¹ The marriage intention of Abigail Prudden and Sgt. Richard Hubbell was published on 16 April 1688 it was his third marriage.³ Abigail Prudden died circa January 1717/18 in Stratfield, Connecticut.¹

     Sgt. Richard Hubbell was born in 1617.¹ The marriage intention of Sgt. Richard Hubbell and Abigail Prudden, daughter of Rev. Peter Prudden and Joanna Boyse, was published on 16 April 1688 it was his third marriage.¹ Sgt. Richard Hubbell died in 1699.¹

     Timothy Wilcoxson was born circa 1637.¹ He was the son of William Wilcoxson.² Timothy Wilcoxson married Joanna Birdsey, daughter of John Birdsey and Phillipa (Unknown), on 28 December 1664 in Stratford, Connecticut.¹ Timothy Wilcoxson died on 13 January 1712/13 in Stratford, Connecticut, (or 13 Jan 1710/11).¹

     Joanna Birdsey was the daughter of John Birdsey and Phillipa (Unknown).² Joanna Birdsey married Timothy Wilcoxson, son of William Wilcoxson, on 28 December 1664 in Stratford, Connecticut.¹ Joanna Birdsey died in August 1713.¹

     Phillip Cook married Mary Lamson, daughter of Barnabas Lamson, by 1652 in Cambridge.² Phillip Cook died on 10 February 1666/67 in Cambridge, Massachusetts.¹

     Mary Lamson was born circa 1622. She was the daughter of Barnabas Lamson.² Mary Lamson married Phillip Cook by 1652 in Cambridge.³ Mary Lamson died on 17 March 1714/15 in Cambridge, Massachusetts.¹

     Deacon Phineas Upham was born on 22 May 1659 in Malden, Massachusetts.¹ He was the son of Lt. Phineas Upham and Ruth Wood.² Deacon Phineas Upham married Mary Mellens before 1682 in Charlestown.³ Deacon Phineas Upham died in October 1720 in Malden, Massachusetts, at the age of 61.¹

     Mary Mellens is also recorded as Mary Mellins.² She was born circa 1663/64.¹ She married Deacon Phineas Upham, son of Lt. Phineas Upham and Ruth Wood, before 1682 in Charlestown.¹ Mary Mellens died after 1720.²

     Elizabeth Mary Davies is also recorded as Edith Mary Davies.¹ Probably the Elizabeth Mary Davies whose birth was registered in the quarter ending June 1871 in the Shrewsbury, Shropshire registration district.¹ She was the daughter of Rev. John Davies and Mary Jones. Elizabeth Mary Davies married Dr. Daniel Rees M.A., Ph.D., son of John Rees and Ann (Unknown), on 29 December 1898 in Atcham, Shropshire.² Elizabeth Mary Davies died on 12 June 1941 in Aberystwyth, Wales.

     Mary Jones was born on 3 January 1834 in Llanbrynmair, Montgomery. She was the daughter of Thomas Jones and Jane (Unknown). Mary Jones was baptised on 19 January 1834 at Old Chapel Congregational, Llanbrynmair, Montgomery, Wales, this record also gives the date of birth as 2 January 1834.¹ She married Rev. John Davies, son of John Davies and Margaret Davies, say 1870.² On 4 April 1881 Mary Jones and Rev. John Davies were living in 8 Claremont Bank, Shrewsbury St Chad, Shropshire.³ Mary Jones died on 19 June 1922 at the age of 88.

      Minister at the Tabernacle Welsh Independent Chapel at Dogpole, Shrewsbury. Rev. John Davies was born on 27 June 1831 in Llansamlet, Glamorgan. He was the son of John Davies and Margaret Davies. Rev. John Davies was baptised on 17 July 1831 at Borth Calvinistic Methodist, Llanfihangel-Genau'R-Glynn, Cardigan. He married Mary Jones, daughter of Thomas Jones and Jane (Unknown), say 1870.¹ On 4 April 1881 Rev. John Davies and Mary Jones were living in 8 Claremont Bank, Shrewsbury St Chad, Shropshire.² Rev. John Davies died on 3 October 1908 at the age of 77.
"In the year 1866 a call was given to the Rev. John Davies of Sirhowy, Mon., which was accepted. The recognition services took place in September of that year. The following account of the event appeared in the "Dysgedydd" (Congregationalist) for November 1866:- "On Saturday night, September 29th, Mr. Jones, Wrexham, went through the opening service and sermons by the Revs. S. Edwards, Machynlleth, & W. Ambrose, Portmadoc. On Sunday morning, at 7-30 a prayer meeting was held and at 10 a.m. the Rev. John Davies opened the service, & Messrs. Edwards & Ambrose preached. At 2 o'clock in the afternoon, the Recognition Meeting took place, when addresses were given by the Revs. S. Edwards & J. Jones, Smethcote, and letters of recommendation were read from the church at Sirhowy, and the Monmouthshire Association. Remarks were made about the difficulties of a Welsh minister in an English town by Mr. Edwards. The meetings were encouraging in every respect, and it was pleasing to notice the unanimity in every branch of the church; the congregation is on the increase, more interest taken in the Sunday school, and the church is progressing very favourably.
The Rev. John Davies is a native of Llansamlet, near Swansea. His parents, John & Margaret Davies, were distinguished for their piety, and he was especially indebted to his mother for the good impressions he received in his youth. He was received into church membership when only ten years of age, and commenced to preach when about seventeen. At the end of about twelve months, during which he exercised his talent in preaching on Sundays in the chapels of the neighbourhood, he went in 1855 to the Normal College, Swansea, which was at the time presided over by Dr. Evan Davies, a learned man and excellent schoolmaster. In 1856 he went to Bala College, which was then under the care of the Rev. M.D. Jones. In June 1858 he was received into Brecon College, where he earned for himself a good name as a successful student and an acceptable preacher. He had for his fellow students the late principal E. Herber Evans, D.D. of Bangor College, and Professor D. Rowlands, B.A., of Brecon College. At the end of his course he received a unanimous call from the Congregational church at Sirhowy, Monmouthshire, which was then, as it is now, one of the most influential churches in South Wales. His predecessor was the late Rev. Noah Stephens, afterwards of Liverpool, one of the ablest preachers of the past generation. Here he laboured with diligence until the year 1866, when he received a call from Shrewsbury. Though a Welsh pastorate in an English town is beset with many difficulties and discouragements, owing to the shifting nature of the congregation, and the difficulty of retaining the children, Mr. Davies stuck to his post for more than thirty years. In September 1896 he was compelled to resign on consequence of hill-health, to the great regret of his people, by whom he was greatly beloved. He was presented with a purse of gold on his retirement."

     Zébée Lucinde Mary Cox was born on 3 March 1907 in County Durham the birth was registered in the district of South Shields.² She was the daughter of Brigadier-General Francis William Henry Cox C.B., C.I.E. and Ethel Sophie Armstrong.¹ Zébée Lucinde Mary Cox married Brigadier Hugh Fitzgerald Hutchinson. Zébée Lucinde Mary Cox died on 24 October 1977 at the age of 70.²

     Francis Forster Fortnom Cox was born on 7 October 1905.¹ He was the son of Brigadier-General Francis William Henry Cox C.B., C.I.E. and Ethel Sophie Armstrong. Francis Forster Fortnom Cox died on 27 March 1931 in Dehre Dun (Dehradun), India, at the age of 25 of septic pneumonia at the age of 25.¹

     Lieut-Commander John Mark Symonds Cox DSO was born circa 1909.¹ He was the son of Brigadier-General Francis William Henry Cox C.B., C.I.E. and Ethel Sophie Armstrong.¹ On 8 June 1940 he was awarded the bar to his DSO for good services in the withdrawal of troops to England from Dunkirk.² Lieut-Commander John Mark Symonds Cox DSO died on 15 March 1941 when the mine sweeper he commanded, HMS Britomart was bombed in Rye Bay. 88 of his crew lost their lives at the same time.¹ He was buried in Plot G. 9. 23. Haslar Royal Naval Cemetery, Hampshire.¹

     Brigadier Hugh Fitzgerald Hutchinson was born circa 1906. He married Zébée Lucinde Mary Cox, daughter of Brigadier-General Francis William Henry Cox C.B., C.I.E. and Ethel Sophie Armstrong. Brigadier Hugh Fitzgerald Hutchinson died in 1967.

     Richard Fitzgerald Hutchinson was born on 10 March 1968. He died on 26 April 1983 in Oundle School, Peterborough, at the age of 15.¹

     Nathaniel Stevenson was born on 26 November 1834. He married Alice Evelyn Harcourt. Nathaniel Stevenson died on 4 September 1909 at the age of 74.

     George Gordon 5th Duke of Gordon, 8th Marquess, 2nd Earl of Norwich was born on 2 February 1770 in Edinburgh. He was the son of Alexander Gordon 4th Duke of Gordon, 7th Marquess, 1st Earl of Norwich and Jane Maxwell. George Gordon 5th Duke of Gordon, 8th Marquess, 2nd Earl of Norwich married Elizabeth Brodie, daughter of Alexander Brodie of Arnhall, on 11 December 1813.² George Gordon 5th Duke of Gordon, 8th Marquess, 2nd Earl of Norwich died on 28 May 1836 in Belgrave Square, London, at the age of 66 upon his death the Dukedom and the Earldom became extinct but the Marquessate passed to his kinsman, George, 5th Earl of Aboyne.

     Georgina Gordon was born on 18 July 1781 in Gordon Castle. She was the daughter of Alexander Gordon 4th Duke of Gordon, 7th Marquess, 1st Earl of Norwich and Jane Maxwell. Georgina Gordon married John Russell 6th Duke of Bedford on 23 June 1803 in Whitehall. Georgina Gordon died on 24 February 1853 at the age of 71.

     Catharine Gordon was born in 1791. She was christened on 7 June 1791 at Bellie.¹ She was the daughter of Alexander Gordon 4th Duke of Gordon, 7th Marquess, 1st Earl of Norwich and Jean Christie. Catharine Gordon married Capt. John Anderson of Candacraig on 15 July 1817 in Bellie.²

     David Williamson was born circa 1720.² He enlisted in the 89th (Highland) Regiment of Foot (or Morris's Highlanders) and saw service in India in 1759.²

     Major Lord Alexander Gordon was born on 8 November 1785 in Edinburgh. He was the son of Alexander Gordon 4th Duke of Gordon, 7th Marquess, 1st Earl of Norwich and Jane Maxwell. Major Lord Alexander Gordon died on 8 January 1808 in Edinburgh at the age of 22 unmarried.¹

     Elizabeth Brodie was born on 20 June 1794.² She was the daughter of Alexander Brodie of Arnhall. Elizabeth Brodie married George Gordon 5th Duke of Gordon, 8th Marquess, 2nd Earl of Norwich, son of Alexander Gordon 4th Duke of Gordon, 7th Marquess, 1st Earl of Norwich and Jane Maxwell, on 11 December 1813.² Elizabeth Brodie died on 31 January 1864 at the age of 69.²

     Theresa John Whitby was born in 1805.¹ She was the daughter of Capt. John Whitby RN and Mary Anna Theresa Symonds.¹ Theresa John Whitby married Frederick Richard West, son of Hon. Frederick West and Maria Myddleton, on 11 September 1827 in Milford Church, near Lymington, the service was conducted by the Rev. Henry Buckley.² Theresa John Whitby died on 18 September 1886.
